[Tachibana Hikari cosplay] Blue Archive Highlander Twins Gymnastics uniform classroom snapshots - Image 1

This photoshoot of Tachibana Hikari cosplay from Blue Archive's Highlander Twins in a Gymnastics uniform took place in an old classroom setting. The natural wood desks and chairs, paired with the graffiti-filled blackboard in the background, brought out the campus daily life atmosphere to the fullest.

Regarding the wig and styling, I made significant adjustments this time. Styling the long green hair to look smooth yet layered was very time-consuming, especially when pairing it with the floating halo headpiece. To keep it from looking awkward on camera, we used a hidden bracket to secure it, testing multiple angles until the transition between the headpiece and hair looked completely natural. The elf ear makeup was another key focus; their size and angle were adjusted several times. Combined with a clear, lightweight base makeup and soft orange contacts, the overall look achieved that nice contrast of feeling from another world yet grounded in real life.

For the outfit, I chose a loose white T-shirt paired with navy blue shorts, white over-the-knee socks, and blue-and-white sneakers, perfectly matching the Gymnastics uniform setting without being overly fussy. Sitting in the classroom with this slightly oversized fit truly brought that cozy feeling of lingering in your seat after school, not wanting to move. The white over-the-knee socks had great texture, and I deliberately chose several seated poses during the shoot to showcase the snug fit of the socks, which, paired with the drape of the long hair, created a strong visual focal point.

The photoshoot process itself was very relaxed; we didn't force overly dramatic or intense poses, focusing instead on capturing natural, candid moments. Poses like sitting sideways on the wooden chair with legs crossed, resting one hand on the desk, or raising a hand to fix my hair made the character's personality come alive. During the shoot, the studio simulated natural light streaming through windows; the side-backlit effect gave sharp contours to the silhouette and added rich detail to the highlights on the White tights cosplay and clothing. The chalk drawings on the blackboard behind me—like flowers and math formulas—served as wonderful accents, giving shape to the authentic school ambiance.

The post-processing approach was to maintain a clear, Japanese-style aesthetic without pushing the contrast too high, preserving the texture of the wooden floor and the details of the desks and chairs. The overall color palette leans warm, making the light and shadow gradation feel like a real classroom. I'm very satisfied with how this cosplay work turned out—from the comfort of the costume and the accuracy of the props to how well everything fit the scene, it met all my expectations for this theme. Putting on this outfit truly made me feel immersed in the character.
