This styling combining a sailor uniform with White stockings, blue animal ears, and a tail finally had its outdoor shoot arranged today. The location chosen was by a rustic, textured Japanese-style wooden house, where wooden window frames and sheer white curtains paired with courtyard greenery gave the overall lighting beautiful layers.
To match the character setting of this Japanese-style girl, I repeatedly adjusted my posture while sitting by the wooden windowsill and on the tatami mats. White stockings demand high attention to leg silhouette, so the sitting pose couldn't be too casual—I needed to turn my body slightly while ensuring the blue ribbons by my feet didn't drag messily on the floor. The large blue bow at the sailor collar is very eye-catching, and paired with the floating blue halo accessory on my head, I had to keep an eye on its stability whenever I moved.
During the session, the photographer suggested leaning slightly toward the doorway, using a book or lightly holding the long blue ribbon with my hand to convey a relaxed, serene mood. Thanks to the wonderfully soft natural light, simply turning my face slightly was enough to capture satisfying textures. When the lighting was at its peak, sitting on the windowsill and glancing at the lens yielded these natural captures. The outfit's structure was relatively complex, but luckily the textures of the props aligned seamlessly, producing results just as envisioned in our Anime-style photography concept.
