Putting on this blue and white color-blocked tracksuit, wearing that pair of signature white-tipped animal ears, and adjusting the angle of the floating halo above my head while standing in front of the concrete steps on a cloudy day, that feeling of being possessed by the character immediately becomes clear.

The scene selection for this shoot is very grounded. Instead of deliberately looking for a gorgeous studio, we utilized these common outdoor stairs, metal railings, and the red plastic running track. The diffuse light from the cloudy day makes the overall texture very soft, avoiding overly strong contrasts of light and shadow, and making the patchwork of deep navy blue and bright cyan on this outfit look clean and sharp in the frame.

The tailoring of the clothing itself carries a strong sense of a sporty, youthful vibe; the jacket is slightly loose, with both the hem and cuffs designed with cinched details. Paired with white calf-length socks and matching blue sneakers, it visually elongates the leg lines beautifully. Compared to those complex, gorgeous formal dresses, this sporty style coordination is much more convenient for outdoor portrait photography. When pacing or squatting in the stairwell, there's no need to worry about damaging props or wrinkling a skirt hem, allowing for a more relaxed approach to catching natural snapshots.

The halo and animal ears on top of the head are the most crucial props for recreating the character. To ensure they remain securely fixed outdoors without looking out of place, quite a few stability tests were done before shooting. The animal ears are made of very light and soft material, so they won't cause strange shifts just by shaking the head, and the halo bracket also relies on hairpins to fit tightly among the hair strands. The grey-silver short bangs are trimmed quite neatly, which, combined with the refreshing base makeup and that splash of bright blue contact lenses, allows the overall facial vibe of being detached yet obedient to flow out naturally.

In terms of action design, to complement the casual feel of this outfit, the photographer guided me to use the step heights of the environment to create staggered high and low poses. For example, sitting on the steps with legs naturally bent and holding a bottle of white drink as a prop can make the entire frame more vivid and filled with a slice-of-life atmosphere. Alternatively, leaning against the outdoor concrete railings, resting the chin on one hand, and keeping the gaze level with or slightly looking up at the camera. These postures don't need to be forced or artificial; the key lies in the relaxation of the shoulders and arms, striking that casual sense of 'just passing by to take a break.'

Although the outdoors on a cloudy day can occasionally carry a touch of dampness, this also perfectly fits the character's own setting of being cool, independent, and sometimes rather taciturn. In this corner of the city, finding a building corner with a sense of geometric cutting and combining it with sporty elements results in a presentation that has both everyday laziness and its own unique aura.

The overall pace of this shooting process was very comfortable, without any sense of rushing against time; it was more about the joy of finding light, shadows, and angles in this quiet outdoor environment. The final color saturation of the photos is not high, but the blue, white, and grey combination is highly durable to look at. Ultimately, being able to immersively melt into a role-play like this and briefly experience another personality and lifestyle in the real world is perhaps where the purest joy of cosplay lies.
