The classroom photoshoot of Tachibana Nozomi from Blue Archive is finally all sorted out, and I'd love to share the details and reflections behind this set. To faithfully capture Nozomi's lively, somewhat bratty energy, we invested a lot of thought into the preparation. First was the iconic light-green wig: thanks to the meticulous styling by the wig artist, the bangs were layered to hug the face contours perfectly, while the two little buns on top and the natural flow of the strands looked vivid and dynamic. High-brightness colors can easily look flat on camera, but after careful styling, the long side locks not only framed the face well but also authentically captured her innate elven quality. For facial makeup, to complement the elf ears, I deliberately chose brownish-yellow lenses and slightly elongated and deepened the outer corners of the eyes—preserving sweetness while injecting a subtle hint of sly cunning. The floating green geometric halo prop on top of the head was the crowning touch; during the shoot, our photographer experimented with several angles to nail its perspective within the frame, achieving a natural floating illusion without stealing the spotlight. Regarding the outfit, the deep-blue uniform jacket has crisp, structured tailoring, with vibrant blue piping and golden buttons along the placket standing out in striking contrast against the clean white background. Naturally, the most eye-catching part was the white pantyhose. To flatter the leg lines in the classroom studio, we made great use of the desks and chairs for various poses. Sitting on a desk with one foot resting on a lower surface not only elongated the leg lines, but also clearly showed off the texture of the White stockings under the soft light. The navy officer cap nearby served not just as her iconic accessory, but also as a handy prop to balance the composition; paired with white gloves, it gave the overall posture a relaxed yet slightly arrogant, bratty charm. In a mundane classroom setting, an overly busy backdrop isn't needed—plain white walls and whiteboards were enough to focus all visual attention onto the character. Throughout the shoot, I stayed as relaxed and casual as possible, behaving like a cheeky student sneaking around and taking over the classroom after school. This interactive feel kept the poses from looking stiff. From seated close-ups to full-body stretches, the photographer captured different moods across varying focal lengths, with gentle lighting that highlighted the visual contrast between the vivid green and deep blue. All in all, from wig styling and costume props to the final shots, this set strove to mirror that lively yet delightfully troublesome personality, and I hope these photos convey Nozomi's one-of-a-kind energy.
