This custom design Cartethyia school uniform series has reached the expected custom design finish from makeup testing and studio shooting to organizing mockup photos today. Since it's a custom design, I put considerable effort into styling versatility—preserving the character's unique aloof serenity while blending in the lively, effortless vibe of everyday campus style.

The biggest challenge for this styling was managing the light blonde long curly wig and fitting the elf ears cosplay snugly. I chose a wig with water-wave texturing, intentionally leaving bangs and sidelocks to frame my face. The elf ears used silicone material to fit smoothly against the auricles; combined with the blue wing-shaped headwear accessories, the overall silhouette filled out instantly. Because the original character's hair is very airy and flowing, I had to frequently adjust the bangs during the studio shoot to prevent frizz, and fortunately, the final presentation looked smooth and neat.

For the costume, I chose a Japanese sailor-collar school uniform dominated by a blue-and-white color palette. The blue bow tie and light-blue collar cleanly echo Cartethyia's classic blue-and-white elements, looking crisp and sweet. The skirt is light blue, paired with pure white thigh-high stockings in a classic white stockings school uniform look, creating a comfortable color contrast against the gray desk legs. I specifically placed a pair of brown-and-white chunky loafers next to my feet, while resting my stockinged feet directly on the chair crossbar—this casual barefoot gesture naturally shaped a relaxed vibe of 'slacking off secretly in the classroom after school.'

For pose choreography, I deliberately selected two distinct states: one flipping through a manga book in hand, and the other setting the book down to rest my cheeks in my hands and daydream. Such a minimalist desk and pure white backdrop rigorously tested body expression. Resting my left leg elevated on the desk created an extended diagonal line across the frame; holding that steady before the camera wasn't easy and required core strength, but it effectively elongated the white stockings school uniform silhouette and leg lines.

That fluorescent green 'FREE DUCT TAPE MOCKUP' strip on the image was an unexpected Easter egg in this Cartethyia custom set.
