Recently, I completed a highly meaningful commission shoot, cosplaying my favorite character Jinhsi, and today I've organized these cosplay event photos to share with everyone. This shoot was a spontaneous collaboration with photographer me, and the location was chosen near a modern building on the periphery of the convention venue. The lighting and background were quite clean, perfect for highlighting the mirror reflections of the car body.

Let's talk about the styling first. The entire costume follows the character's settings, featuring a white ruffled-collar shirt paired with a light blue pleated skirt, making the whole color scheme look very refreshing. The deep blue bow decoration on the chest echoes the bright blue long silk ribbons on both sides of the hairstyle beautifully, adding to the visual richness of the look. The wig is fluffy and smooth silver-white long hair with a subtle light blue gradient at the ends. Although long, it was surprisingly easy to keep neat. I added a bit of volume to make it look more natural. For makeup, I specifically chose light blue contact lenses and adorned the eye area with glitter to brighten it up. Under the outdoor light, the gaze looks exceptionally spirited and translucent. The final effect of the overall makeup and styling highly restores that cool yet slightly adorable, energetic vibe, which I am personally quite satisfied with.

The interactive prop for this shoot was an itasha-modified car, with rich decal details on the doors and hood. The photographer was excellent at capturing the relationship between the character and the environment. Standing or sitting by the car door to reach out to the lens, or posing more casually on the hood, were common interactions in this set. The one where I am kneeling on the hood with my legs slightly raised achieved a perfect balance between composition and physical relaxation. Although these are outdoor cosplay event photos under natural light, the smooth paint of the vehicle and the reflections of the glass curtain wall behind add a sense of urban style, providing a clever transition between the character's 2D world and the real scene.

In terms of posing and expression management, I tried my best to capture Jinhsi's relaxed yet playful aura. For instance, resting my chin in my hands while looking at the camera, or raising a finger for a cute pose—while these actions pose a small challenge to body flexibility, as long as you find the right angle in combination with light and shadow, the final images turn out quite lively. The outside of the convention venue on that day was inevitably bustling with people, but the photographer effectively compressed the space using a telephoto lens, isolating the chaotic background to keep the focus entirely on the interaction between the model and the vehicle. Compared to studio shoots, I've always preferred outdoor convention photography because the real light, shadow, and wind in the environment allow you to quickly immerse yourself in the shooting mood, giving the resulting photos more room to breathe.

The entire shooting process was a highly enjoyable exploration, providing me with a lot of experience from styling preparation to on-site posture adjustment and final image presentation. Doing a cosplay commission is not just about restoring a character, but using these clothes, light, and shadow to tell the character's 2D daily life moments. Combined with this refreshing white and blue color palette, it truly brings a distinct sense of immersion in such a passionate convention atmosphere. I hope everyone can feel Jinhsi's casual yet agile temperament through these photos.
