Slipping into this blue-and-white gradient dress and putting on the pale lavender wig with cat-ear hairpins made me wonder: what would Keqing look like if she set aside her demanding work and stepped into this pink sea of flowers? Instead of her signature form-fitting bodysuit and thigh-high boots, this time I went with a lighter, cuter stage-idol style. Deep blue ribbon bows pinned at the ends of the twin tails, paired with a matching choker, added a sweet, demure touch. The skirt cascades in a gradient from deep navy to pure white, its sheer chiffon fluttering with a luminous, airy texture under the sun and breeze.

For makeup, I highlighted blue colored contact lenses to recreate her canonical eye color, complemented by soft pinkish eyeshadow blending. Under the ample outdoor daylight, this created a striking and vivid color clash in the eyes. To match the overall look, I wore white flared arm sleeves, while the lower half was paired with light purple stockings, preserving the cute aesthetic while adding depth to the coordinate. The white lace parasol served as an excellent interactive prop; opening it softly diffused the harsh sunlight, bathing my facial features in a much gentler light.

The choice of shooting location was well thought-out—a vast field of pink muhly grass in the park happened to be in full bloom. The rosy plumes formed expansive sweeps of pink, creating a vibrant color contrast against the lush green trees and the faintly visible yellow windmill in the background. To embrace this dreamlike ambiance, the photographer used a soft-focus diffusion filter and even placed a fine sheer mesh in front of the lens, imbuing the entire photoset with a hazy, ethereal glow. The daylight was remarkably abundant; the high-key lighting gave the photos a bright anime-style aesthetic, while the fluffy pink plumes served as a splendid, dreamy backdrop.

During the actual shoot, the wooden fence proved to be a versatile anchor. I tried leaning against it, crouching beside the grassy patches, and strolling along the path holding the parasol. Because the skirt features an asymmetrical high-low hem, crouching or turning around required extra care to arrange the chiffon folds gracefully while keeping the composition grounded through the sleek lines of the stockings. The white parasol was highly reflective against the backlight, which naturally filled in facial shadows nicely, though its angle required constant fine-tuning to prevent blown-out highlights.

Shooting an outfit with so many layered elements outdoors is genuinely taxing on stamina. The long wig easily tangled with the chiffon and ribbons while walking, demanding frequent brushing. Since the eye makeup featured bold pigments, it could easily look heavy under strong sunlight, making precise powder setting and delicate blending essential. The moment the shutter clicked, the breeze swept both the pink grass plumes and the white hem in the same direction—freezing that frame was truly breathtaking in person. This set was an exploration of the character's possibilities across different environments; through numerous refinements from fabric choices to set synergy, the final photos faithfully captured that sunlit afternoon.
