These convention shots of Lynette Cosplay in Angel Garden record a specific moment from the anime convention. To recreate the ethereal lightness of the Genshin Impact design, coordinated with the light blue bow and cat tail, every detail of the costume and styling had to be meticulously polished. Starting with the makeup and hair: styling the light blonde braids truly tested my patience, especially tuning the curl at the hair ends to match the cat ears on top, which required constant angle adjustments. Blue contact lenses paired with a touch of reddish blush at the outer corners of the eyes helped capture that slightly languid, dreamy, and mysterious feline gaze.
Regarding the outfit, this white dress actually has a lot of intricate details. The sheer sleeves and the lattice design across the chest, combined with the puffy skirt hem and leg ribbons, beautifully accentuate feminine curves. For better photos, I wore a supportive corset underneath; although quite tight, it defined my waistline wonderfully. The White stockings paired with light blue straps are one of the key alluring elements of this look. The pale yellow high heels stood out vibrantly against the dark floor, elongating my leg lines.
The highlight of taking these photos was the coordination between the ribbons and the tail. The ribbons needed to be thrown with force to create a perfect arc in mid-air, while the tail was pinned securely but still needed to maintain a natural curve during movements. Because we were at a convention venue where the floor could be uneven, posing with one-legged balances or spins was a huge test of equilibrium. After over a dozen takes, we finally caught the exact split second when the ribbons billowed in the air.
The lighting here had a truly cinematic feel—against a dark background, a single beam of light struck the white dress, making the sheen on the skirt hem look incredible on camera. Paired with freshly brewed black tea and snacks brought by my brother, care to join me for a taste, Traveler? The overall aura holds the grace of a noble young lady alongside the playful charm of a Cat girl. Capturing these moments is an expression of my own interpretation of the character, recreating the Angel Garden of my vision. Freezing the dynamic flow of the skirt and tail under the light and shadow while showcasing Lynette's demeanor made this cosplay an absolute joy.
