[Sangonomiya Kokomi Cosplay] Self-Coordinated Uniform: Both Kokomi and a High School Girl

This self-coordinated little Kokomi uniform set is finally out. Choosing a JK uniform sailor suit as a variant of everyday casual wear is to showcase another lively image that the character might have in school life. The gradient wig at the intersection of pink and light blue makes layering very important; the top is given a fluffy treatment so that the bow hair accessory can be securely worn on top without looking top-heavy. The upper body is a modified short sailor suit, with the stiff fabric keeping a great silhouette for the collar. The name tag pinned to the left chest is specially customized, adding a lot of detail immersion. The lower body is paired with a deep blue high-waist pleated skirt; this length ratio is very height-elongating, subtly revealing the waistline when standing, and making the leg lines look much more slender when sitting on a chair paired with white mid-calf socks. The paired black chunky-heeled loafers not only coordinate with the color of the whole outfit but also guarantee comfort when walking around the Guangzhou Anime Convention all day. Regarding accessories, besides the deep blue bow on top of the head, I also carried a black leather shoulder bag with a tiny charm tied to it, adding a lively bright color to the overall black, white, and blue-dominated tone. In the overall makeup processing, it also cooperated with the color of the wig; instead of choosing excessively heavy shading, it used a sense of clarity to highlight the subject, with the eyeshadow subtly combining pink and blue, paired with contact lenses of the same color spectrum to make the gaze more agile.

The shooting day was at a Genshin Impact only exhibition site at the Guangzhou Anime Convention. The venue's lighting was exceptionally good, and the metal railings and overall cool-toned architectural style surprisingly clicked with this JK uniform. During the shooting process, I attempted different postures such as sitting and standing. I particularly love those few photos sitting on the white chair, which are both relaxed and carry a hint of playfulness. Placing hands on the head or sitting upright on the chair fills the frame with an everyday yet exquisite atmosphere. When communicating with the photographer, I hoped the final prints could display more of a natural and fresh feeling. This time, no excessive props were used, purely relying on the character's own body language and clothing to express. Treat every photo session seriously; from combing the wig to ironing the clothes, details determine the final print effect. Wearing this outfit to browse the convention and encountering fellow fans saying "This outfit looks great" made my heart really happy. Cosplay is not only a restoration but also a creation; using different clothing to interpret the same character possesses a unique fun.
