To create a feather-like lightness, I repeatedly adjusted the tightness and direction of the straps during fittings; although they left slight marks and mild discomfort, it was completely worthwhile for the final visual effect. The hair was styled in black-and-red twin tails adorned with pure white feather hair accessories, and combined with the exquisite golden star pendant on the chest, it added a touch of splendor to the fresh aesthetic.
The studio setup was very minimalist, featuring a pure white background with cascading translucent tulle drapes, perfectly matching the "Poem of Pure White" theme under high-key soft lighting. During the shoot, to capture that casual, languid, yet dreamy maiden demeanor for this Damselette cosplay, I experimented with standing, sitting, knee-hugging, and various other poses. In particular, stepping barefoot on the white floor with white straps not only required a degree of physical flexibility, but also tested facial expression control. Because the overall outfit is light and airy, when the breeze brushed through the tulle curtains, we had to swiftly capture that effortless fluttering grace. The entire shoot took place in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, and the photographer was adept at capturing these delicate emotions.
This shoot also deepened my understanding of the character—that quiet presence resembling somniloquy in deep slumber requires dialing back deliberate performance, relaxing completely to let the most natural state emerge.
