Today's set of photos is a derivative styling of Rem from Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. To fit the cute cat-girl vibe, I deliberately chose this white-and-blue color scheme JK sailor uniform, paired with a pink bow tie and customized pink cat ear hair accessories. The wig was trimmed with a very neat blunt fringe, and the contact lenses were chosen as aurora blue. The happiest part of doing this version was bringing five mini Rem plushies. The mini sailor uniforms they wear are also completely replicated, serving as my specially prepared shooting partners. I even compared the pink hair clips on their heads one by one to ensure they are consistent with the original version.

The venue was chosen at an abandoned industrial-style warehouse with a high ceiling, and huge light-transmitting windows provided very natural and soft lighting. During the shoot, the photographer Jiujiu Jiu Shi Yue asked me to sit casually on the carpet without deliberately striking any large-scale poses. I tried placing the plushies on my shoulders and legs, and even stacked them together to sit in a row; that fluffy texture matched with the spacious, cold, and hard concrete floor created a very strong visual contrast. To increase the layering of the image, we also specially brought a gray plush carpet as a cushion.

Sitting barefoot on the ground while shooting this set was actually a bit chilly, but the photo results are extremely transparent and clear. Since the outfit is a short-sleeved sailor uniform paired with a pleated skirt, to look good on camera, a lot of effort was put into lighting and reducing swelling beforehand. The overall atmosphere aims to present a feeling of maintaining softness and cuteness even within a cool-toned environment. From grooming the wig to adjusting the positions of small props, I tried my best to make every detail fit the original design. Especially this Bodyline-style sailor uniform has a very proper cut and shape, which can support the character's outline very well in front of the lens. Combined with the industrial-style background, it has a wonderful textural feel of dimensional collision.

The entire shooting process was actually very smooth. When seeing the collision between the blue hair and the industrial-style background in the finished photos, I felt that all the refinement in the details was worth it. If true love has a color, it must be Rem blue. Shooting this set of photos is not just completing a cosplay, but also wanting to convey Rem's gentle yet resilient temperament through the lens, hoping to share this joy of cat Rem with everyone.
