I'm looking directly for a local photographer in Wuhan for a Cosplay collaboration (TFP) to shoot this Rem outfit shown in the pictures. Recently, I've wanted to shoot some official photos with better texture, but I can't manage everything alone, so I'm trying to post this to see if I can find a partner. The time isn't fully set yet, but it will highly likely be on a weekday. We'll pick a day with nice lighting and get the photos done together.
For this collaboration, I am willing to cover the studio fees on my end, so I want to set a bit of an experience threshold for the photographer. It shouldn't be just random snapshotting; basic set design skills and experience in guiding poses are genuinely required to help me quickly find my form. I've encountered photographers before who couldn't guide at all, making me look extremely stiff in the photos, so this time I truly hope to meet a friend with basic aesthetics. I can handle the makeup, styling, wig, and facial retouching entirely by myself, so you basically don't have to worry about that. If you are familiar with using reflectors and camera position scheduling in the studio, that would be even more ideal.
The plan is to book about 2 hours for the studio shoot. Since I will have already completed my styling and makeup, I can enter the shooting state very quickly, so an efficient photographer can absolutely shoot a lot of good photos. If we shoot fast, I am also very willing to try shooting the same look as the figure in Photo 2 for the remaining bit of time, though it's not a hard requirement; the main priority is to firmly shoot the official photos for this Rem outfit. Of course, since this is a mutual collaboration, we are essentially looking for a partner to create together, so mutual understanding is what matters most.
Regarding post-processing, I must honestly state my personal red lines here. Absolutely do not use AI to edit my face, and you don't need to spend time helping me fine-tune my face shape or body. I have been doing post-processing myself for many years and have my own fixed retouching workflow and aesthetic habits, so please don't trouble yourself with facial and body shaping. I only need the photographer to perform basic color grading and atmospheric light/shadow processing, bringing the tone of the photos to the level of official photos.
For the quality reference of the photos, please look at the few pieces of work I recently shot that I placed above. I think it's best if we are on the same page regarding aesthetics and frame texture. For example, those few from the convention floor and those sets from the studio shoots—I place great importance on the color presentation of the costume itself, the light and shadow, and the overall atmosphere. If your shooting style is close to these images of mine, we will definitely have a great mutual understanding creating together.
Actually, in the Anime cosplay circle, a Cosplay collaboration (TFP) is a very common way of cooperating. Everyone gathers together because of their love for the same character from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. Rem is truly a highly charming and challenging character, and a lot of thought went into the early stage processing of the costume and wig. I hope to use this opportunity to freeze-frame some meaningful works.
It's not just the character; I also love the sense of focus that studio shooting brings, allowing me to fully enter the character. The semi-translucent sheer fabric and specific lighting fit perfectly with the feel I want to capture for this Anime-style photography session. For a good cooperation, everyone needs to accommodate and coordinate with each other to yield great photos. Later, once I select the time and studio, I will organize the reference images and storyboards in advance to send to you. Finishing the shoot in 2 hours means the efficiency won't be low, and I believe we can get satisfying photos.
Looking forward to meeting a compatible photographer for this Wuhan photoshoot booking.
