The theme of this shoot was Rem's JK uniform fan concept. The main scene was chosen with the light blue background wall and school desks and chairs at Kasumi Studio, focusing on a refreshing campus style. Before the shoot, I tried on the outfit—the blue fabric of the Sailor suit is very breathable, and paired with a long white knit cardigan, the overall color scheme was very harmonious. To match the character's traits, I wore white cat ears and pink star hair clips on my head, which, combined with the blue wig, gave the overall look a great level of fidelity.
The entire shoot was directed by the photographer "Nine Nine Nine is the Moon" (九九九是月). Because some poses were quite challenging, we communicated frequently throughout the shoot. For the first photo, I chose to curl up on the chair, resting a finger against my cheek while looking into the lens. This pose actually tested core strength since it required single-leg support and presenting the White stockings naturally in front of the camera without looking bulky. The photographer helped adjust the light positions for a smooth transition across the light blue background, rendering crisp facial highlights and sharp pupil focus. For the second shot, I moved onto the school desk, extending both legs straight in the air while making a cat-paw gesture with my hands. Sitting on the desk edge to maintain balance and straight leg lines required pressing the knees firmly, showcasing leg lines with shoe covers and White stockings. These White stockings have great drape and fit, accentuating leg shape beautifully when seated, which was one of the reasons for choosing this outfit.
For hair and makeup, the foundation was on the fair side, paired with pink blush and slightly upturned eyeliner, making the complexion look lively under cool-toned lighting. The studio environment was very quiet, the desk and chair props fit the scene perfectly, and the shooting process went very smoothly. Although this fan concept is simple, the moment I put on the clothes and stepped onto the set, the character's aura emerged naturally. This photoshoot was quite a complete experience, capturing an everyday daily life feel for the character in a campus setting. I paid close attention to pose details during shooting—such as arranging skirt pleats and wearing the White stockings carefully to avoid snags. What took the most effort was maintaining a smiling expression and pointed toes with arched insteps; my legs were quite sore after wrapping up. However, the final photos turned out clean and translucent, fitting the light-toned palette perfectly, serving as a lovely little record of my fan concept.
