Actually, every time shooting this kind of look that requires a mix of sharp lines and rigid fabrics, the lighting requirements of the shooting venue are exceptionally high. The steel structure ceiling and high-pressure spotlights at the convention site often leave messy reflection spots on such large-area reflective fabrics, which heavily tests the photographer's basic lighting skills. Fortunately, the lighting in these convention photos was handled very well. The photographer used a large aperture to blur the noisy convention scene in the background into a dark backdrop with a metallic sheen, which perfectly highlighted the character's contour and hair texture.

Regarding this cosplay look, the white short top features a blue-and-gold small shawl design at the shoulders, looking both sharp and slightly solemn. The exquisite gold embossed badge and double-breasted buttons on the chest look exceptionally delicate under the top light. The stitching and fabric processing are very neat, so it won't look rough even when viewed up close under the booth. The bright blue leggings adopt a glossy fabric similar to spandex or high-stretch fabric; this material shrinks the body curves while generating fluid light and shadow with movement. The silver trim decorations around the legs perfectly neutralize the overall saturation, adding a touch of tough mechanical sense.

The black patent leather long boots that go over the knee are the highlight of the entire look. The high-heeled design visually extends the proportions of the lower body, and the reflection of the patent leather texture is very strong, which not only modifies the leg shape but also strengthens the cool/icy makeup and styling aura of the overall look. Since the boot shafts are high, combined with the hard soles at the bottom, standing and walking all day at the convention site is actually a major test of physical strength. However, it is precisely this wearing experience with a slight tension and constraint that makes it easier for me to immerse myself into that expressionless, serious state.

The prop long sword in my hand is not actually heavy. The prop maker used lightweight materials, which is very friendly for cosplayers who need to walk around and pose for a long time at the exhibition. I can easily hold the hilt with my right hand alone, letting it naturally rest vertically on the ground, without causing arm soreness due to weight or causing sword shaking that affects picture clarity. Plus, a random gust of draft wind at the venue happened to lift my light blonde hair, capturing a few moments of flying hair strands, which added a dynamic vitality to the originally static standing pose.

In terms of makeup, I deliberately avoided stacking up overly heavy colors, mainly using earth-toned eyeshadow to create depth in the eye sockets, and elongating the eye contours with a slender black eyeliner, making the gaze look a bit more coldly focused. I didn't use any exaggerated lip colors, but chose a nude rose color close to natural, which ensures the high unity of the overall facial colors with the blonde hair and blue armor, preventing the makeup from looking too abrupt.

The air conditioning inside the convention hall was quite strong, and the temperature leaned low, which perfectly matched the cool, metallic tone of the photos. Although walking around in a bodysuit and long boots makes it easy to sweat, during the intervals of stopping to strike a pose and quietly waiting for the wind to come, the chilliness actually makes one more clear-headed, maintaining the best lens performance. What I look forward to most at every convention is this kind of authentic restoration feedback—from wearing the wig to holding the prop, and then adjusting my state in front of the camera, the careful preparation in every step can ultimately be seen in the final photos.
