When I first got this Matcha Sweetheart Daji costume, I was instantly captivated by the fluffy skirt hem and the mint green color scheme. Since the costume structure is relatively complex, I specially straightened out the layers of the inner support and petticoat before wearing it to let the outer petal-like ruffles present a full arc. The beast ears and plush tail of the headpiece were securely fixed to prevent them from shifting while walking around the venue. During the shoot, the photographer and I agreed to prepare some interactive props, such as that small matcha cake model, to echo the character's dessert theme. The on-site lighting was quite mixed, but by making good use of the venue illumination and reflectors, we were still able to capture the mint green tones very translucently. The visual focus of this outfit lies in the fresh color blocking and the lightweight dynamic movement of the skirt hem, so when composing the shots, we selected some bottom-up and side-turning angles, trying our best to include all the layered fabric and shoe surface details in the frame. As a TFP photoshoot, everything went smoothly from the initial costume adjustments to the on-site posture communication. I really love the resulting cool, refreshing atmosphere, which goes perfectly with the weightless feel the character inherently gives off.
