This photoshoot featured Dialyn from Zenless Zone Zero. The solo segment of our group session in the white studio was shot by a Japanese photographer—we were only given five minutes, but the keeper rate was remarkably high. This look is packed with design flair: the black-and-white color palette paired with extensive lace and ruffles naturally demands excellent lighting to convey texture, and the even illumination of White studio photography showcased these intricate details to perfection.
Fine-tuning the poses took considerable thought. Because we needed to capture the most perfect moments in a very short timeframe, I tried jumping mid-air suspensions, tucking my legs with a peace sign, and various seated poses on prop cubes. In particular, the massive golden ring held in hand created a strong sense of spatial depth in the composition, but it also required relying on core strength to maintain balance, keeping limbs stretched out without appearing stiff.
For hair, makeup, and costume, the wig was styled as black-and-white twin-tails accented with pom-poms at the tips, matching the character's color-block design seamlessly. The White stockings and leg garter on my legs, combined with buckle-embellished platform creepers, elongated overall body proportions beautifully. During the shoot, the photographer really knew how to highlight feminine charm; utilizing a slightly lower camera angle, they captured long, slender leg lines while showcasing upper-body curves and a subtly sultry ambiance. The photo sitting on the cube featured an exceptionally complete composition—centered and relaxed—so it was chosen directly as the cover.
Accompanying this outfit was that iconic ring prop. When posing in the air, special care was needed regarding the ring's angle to avoid obstructing my face or disrupting the overall visual silhouette. Everything flowed smoothly on set, with crisp, efficient execution from lighting setup to snapshot rhythm. Achieving final photos of this quality in just a few minutes required not only good condition from the model, but also the photographer's professional mastery of dynamic motion. Communicating with such a professional team was highly efficient, and the resulting cosplay photos were exactly what I envisioned—making it a truly ideal shooting experience.
