This set of Honkai: Star Rail Firefly's Spring souvenir JK uniform style photoshoot gains a unique light and shadow texture under the steel framework of the pedestrian overpass at night. The color selection for the entire look follows a refreshing yet slightly cool path, but under the reflection of the nighttime warm-colored ground lights, it appears exceptionally gentle. Regarding this hair and makeup styling, the part I'm most satisfied with is the treatment of the wig. The silver-gray straight long hair fading into a bluish green has a natural luster under the night scene lighting. The blue-green leaf-shaped hair accessory on the side of the head is highly eye-catching, forming an excellent echo with the overall color scheme. To fit the theme of Spring souvenir, I chose this white sailor-collared cropped jacket. The collar edges are light grayish blue, and a wide green plaid bow tie is tied across the chest. Complemented by the golden metallic brooch and the golden embroidered flower patterns on the sleeves, it makes the upper body look exquisite and far from monotonous. The lower body is paired with a gray-based pleated skirt with yellow stripes, whose pleats look highly three-dimensional when walking.

However, the most meticulous parts of this coordination are actually the details of the over-the-knee socks and shoes. The white over-the-knee socks feature a highly adorable yellow flower mark on the left thigh, which breaks up the monotony of pure white and adds a touch of teenage girl playfulness. On the feet are a pair of lacquer-textured brown loafers; this glossy material combined with deep brown leather texture displays a strong retro vibe under the lighting, while simultaneously neutralizing the lighter tone of the upper body. Paired with an earth-toned, textured handbag, the completion rate of the entire JK outfit is very high. Whether in a standing pose or walking around slightly, the bag can beautifully embellish the atmosphere of the entire outfit.

The shooting location was key to making this style work. We selected a modern steel-structure pedestrian overpass, where the white metallic tubes and triangular trusses delivered a cool industrial harshness under the cold-toned top lighting. However, the yellow tactile paving and ground lights on both sides of the overpass floor provided a powerful warm ambient light. This interweaving of cool and warm light and shadow beautifully accentuates the figure's silhouette. My standing pose in Figure 2 beautifully utilizes the reflective glass on the side and the light strip beneath my feet, putting myself right in the center of the composition, with the lighting gorgeously illuminating the textures of the pleated skirt and white jacket. This photo is also why I selected it as the cover; the figure is not against the edge, and the composition is symmetrical and natural.

In terms of action design, I didn't want to make it look too rigid. The movement in Figure 1, lifting one leg and pointing the right index finger forward, aims to bring out a confident and agile feeling. The slight forward lean and index finger lightly touching the chin in Figure 3 focus on highlighting a coquettish and curious state. Figure 4, with one hand brushing the hair and a hand-carried leather bag paired with cross-legged stance, leans more toward the natural casualness of a daily walk. For this ambient light under the night cover, we didn't apply overly exaggerated filters in post-processing, primarily balancing the color temperatures of the top light and ambient light to restore the true colors of the wig and clothing themselves. The state presented in front of the lens for this set of photos leans toward daily-life coolness, yet it preserves the youthfulness unique to JK uniforms. Under the backdrop of the night view and the steel frames, the atmosphere is dialed up to the max. This beautifully rounds out our journey of Anime cosplay and JK uniform photography.
