What day is it today? Tonight, the stars echo because of me. This feature set of Robin has finally met everyone; this shoot invested a lot of energy from preparation to output, and I want to share the details behind it in detail. Let's first talk about the clothing and prop parts that everyone cares about the most. The design of this dress is extremely layered, with a splicing of pure white and deep purple, coupled with a purple satin waist cincher and sleevelets, and the reflection of the material has a special texture under the lens. The golden piping and star-moon accessories on the clothes, including those small accessories on the gloves, were carefully selected and fixed to restore the look. What satisfies me the most is the floating halo on top of my head; to make it look natural and not fall off, I hid a very clever fixing method in the hairstyle, which, combined with dotted small flowers and starbursts, presented a great floating visual effect. The staff in hand is also a major highlight, with golden openwork plus white wings, and it has a fair amount of weight in hand. To maintain a natural posture during photography, I practiced for a long time on how to hold it with one hand while keeping it elegant.
In terms of makeup, this time I specially chose bright green contact lenses to match the setting, the eye makeup accentuated the outlining of eyelashes and eyeliner, and the rhinestones and sequins under the eyes are the finishing touches, making the overall gaze look more vibrant. To maintain the longevity of the makeup, the base makeup was applied very solidly, and the lip makeup used a rosy gradient lip, matching the overall fairness to present a delicacy unique to the two-dimensional world.
This shoot was divided into two completely different scenes. The first group was in front of a deep red velvet background, with vintage seats and hands reaching out around to help me touch up my makeup, creating an atmosphere like a backstage of a stage or right before a gorgeous entrance. Holding that small round mirror with a handle in my hand, matching the action of the makeup brush, although being made up by others, my gaze always maintained the character's confidence and ethereal feel. To match this retro and slightly theatrical background, the photographer deliberately used warm-toned side lighting, which formed a strong contrast with the cool tone of the dress itself.
The other scene shifted to a brightly lit indoor space, with a white piano, music stand, and a large amount of blue-and-white floral arrangements. To match this scene, I picked up the white staff, as well as a violin and a bouquet. Regarding the actions of playing the piano and violin, I specifically looked up some basic violin-holding and key-pressing postures; although it was just a static pose, I still hoped to showcase the character's musical cultivation. For the shot lying on the piano, to exhibit that lazy yet slightly playful feeling, I adjusted the tilt angle of my body several times, trying my best to stretch the shoulder and neck lines. Lying sideways on a white blanket, with a white iron birdcage and blue-and-white roses placed beside, backlight shining on the hair, that translucent feel was simply amazing; this set had very high demands on lighting, requiring precise control of the reflector's angle.
Shooting this feature set, from the trimming and styling of the wig to the positioning of every metal accessory, and then to the emotional transitions under different scenes, was truly a very satisfying experience. I hope this set of photos can convey the character's unique charm.
