Heading out to the Guangzhou CICF outdoor venue to shoot this Dragon Nest Liya look that I've always wanted to do. Even though it's a street setting outside, paired with those blue-grey glass high-rises in the background, it actually makes this olive green and brown elf outfit stand out even more.

We shot several poses this time, and my favorite is still the photo where I'm half-squatting while drawing the bow. In fact, the bow is quite heavy, so keeping it steady in my hands while maintaining an aiming posture really required me to tighten my core strength. The elf ears and wig were relatively cooperative that day and weren't affected too much by the outdoors. The light at outdoor venues isn't as easy to control as in studio photography, but the afternoon natural light made the layering on the clothes very clear, especially the leaf design on the neckline and the color-blocking of the tall boots. The periphery of the convention is always very lively; when I sat on the ground for the third picture, quite a few passersby gathered to watch. Doing cosplay in such a bustling place gives a wonderful sense of immersion.

In terms of costume preparation, this green battle suit was made with textured fabric to fit the character's outdoor style, and the weathering process on the leather part of the bracers took quite a lot of effort. Walking on the street while carrying a weapon turned a lot of heads; many passersby were curious about which work this character came from. Being able to share this hobby with fellow enthusiasts or passersby through cosplay photography is a pleasure in itself.

It was a bit windy on the day of the shoot, but fortunately, the bow's construction was sturdy enough, though it did heavily test my finger strength. The entire shoot was very fulfilling. Although it was tiring, being able to recreate the temperament of this Dragon Nest class against such a realistic urban background made it feel very worthwhile.
