I just finished taking these mirror selfies in the studio. This Columbina outfit from Sanfen Wangxiang has a truly excellent overall texture, especially that light and airy girlish feel, which is captured perfectly.

When I first got this primarily blue and white dress, my initial impression was that the fabric was very comfortable. The outer layer of gradient blue-and-white tulle has excellent light transmission under indoor lighting. With just a slight breeze or movement, it creates a flowing effect, which perfectly matches the ethereal and mysterious temperament of this character in Genshin Impact. The short design combined with the body ornaments and the white feather-like hair decoration results in many details, yet you can feel the high quality of the finished product as soon as you handle it. I feel that Sanfen Wangxiang put a lot of care into shaping the overall silhouette of the costume this time, so it's not the kind of outfit that looks bloated or falls apart everywhere once you put it on.

Let's talk about some wearing details. Aside from the skirt hem, the most eye-catching part of this costume is the white criss-cross strappy shoes on the legs. These straps wrap all the way up to the upper calf. Putting them on in the studio admittedly takes some time to adjust the tightness, but once they are set, the visual flattering effect on the legs is amazing, and it also reinforces the fantasy style unique to the character. The white bands on the thighs are also quite secure when fixed and won't slide down from walking, which saves a lot of time adjusting poses during mirror selfies.

When I was taking this set of photos, I happened to use the ring light in the studio. To be honest, in order to clearly capture the blue and white translucency of the clothes, frontal fill light is very important. Since mirror selfies are easily affected by mirror reflections, when I spread my arms and held up my phone in the third photo, I paid special attention to letting the outer tulle spread out naturally. This made the sleeves look very voluminous and highlighted the drape of the fabric. The white hair accessory on my dark hair, combined with this costume, created a very comfortable overall color contrast, offering an anime-style fashion dreaminess without looking too abrupt.

The feather material of the headpiece is on the stiffer side, but because of this, it doesn't easily deform and maintains a great three-dimensional silhouette when shooting from multiple angles for our cosplay photography. There were actually quite a few messy pieces of equipment and slippers on the ground at the shooting location, but through composition and focal length control, I could just manage to avoid the clutter and keep the focus entirely on the person and the costume. This blue-toned clothing is exceptionally friendly to studio photography with a white background, making everything look clean and translucent.

Although the seemingly complex tulle dress and strap configuration take a bit of time to put on and take off, the worn effect is absolutely worth it. This kind of lighter-designed character costume from the Genshin Impact series is actually harder to make well than those heavy armors because it can easily look cheap or texture-less if not done carefully, but this set from Sanfen Wangxiang passes with flying colors in both fabric and details. After putting it on and slightly adjusting the collar and the moon pendant on the chest, the whole person's temperament comes right out. This is probably why I wanted to take a few more mirror selfies in it to check the image results. After messing around in the studio for a few hours and standing on the cold floor to take these photos, I was indeed a bit tired, but seeing the final shots on my phone made me very satisfied. Before shooting, I also specifically adjusted the heel height of the strappy shoes to ensure I could maintain a stable center of gravity while walking. After all, walking around a studio filled with power cords in high heels means safety is also very important. Daily storage of this outfit doesn't take up too much space either; just fold the tulle dress neatly, which is very convenient and should be quite suitable for outdoor locations in the future.

Lastly, a quick takeaway is that this outfit is incredibly skin-brightening. Paired with this lightweight headpiece, the overall visual is very airy and friendly for shooting expressions, without having to worry about complex makeup and hair falling apart. Today's trial experience for this Genshin Impact character was very pleasant; it's the kind of outfit you don't really want to take off once you put it on, giving you a real sense of character immersion.
