Shooting this pajama-themed Roxy set was mainly to recreate that healing and serene atmosphere from the original Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation work. We chose a massive amount of fresh flowers and greenery as the background, paired with bright natural light, giving the blue-and-white color palette a very pure visual experience.

Let's first talk about the focus of this makeup and styling. The wig selected features light greyish-blue double long braids, and that iconic cowlick on top of the head underwent stiff styling treatment to ensure it stays erect from all angles, restoring the character's signature trait. The matching eye makeup used highly translucent contact lenses, paired with pink blush, reinforcing that lively and slightly childish feel of the water magic practitioner.

Regarding the outfit, to fit the morning pajamas theme, I specially picked a white off-the-shoulder loose short dress. The neckline features a drawstring and ruffled design, which beautifully showcases the neckline and collarbones, adding a touch of light breathing room to the overall look. The legs are paired with detailed white lace short socks. This combination of socks and pajamas fits the cozy home daily theme perfectly, while increasing the visual layer richness of the leg lines.

For this shoot, we experimented with several different scenes and actions to enrich the visual expression. The first photo features a kneeling posture on the ground, holding a bouquet of white lilies in both hands with my gaze pointing slightly upward, coordinating with a loose hand-clasping gesture to simulate a prelude of a certain incantation when she performs water magic. The focus in my eyes and the texture of the petals in this shot are parts I'm highly satisfied with; the light happens to form soft highlights on my face and chest.

The second shot shifts to a relaxed prone posture, with calves naturally bent in the air, utilizing waist strength to prop up the upper body. This angle beautifully expresses the flowing feel of the top and the snug wrapping of the short socks, while showcasing the silhouette of the long hair extending down my back. Lightly tapping a finger against the cheek adds a touch of playful interaction.

The third shot is a side-sitting position with legs placed to the side, echoing the direction of the long braids. The bouquet scattered aside naturally blends into the frame, making the depth of field more apparent. What needed attention here was how the long braids naturally fell onto the bedsheets without looking cluttered, while avoiding color confusion with the flowers in the background.

For the last frame, I added cute beast ears accessories to interact with, standing in front of the window sill. Outside the window are green plants and natural landscaping, which, combined with the white sheer curtains swaying in the breeze, makes the character look as if she's waiting for the morning's first ray of sunlight. This angle highlights the girlishness of the attire and the overall home ambiance from a side profile.

The color grading of the entire photo set is dominated by high brightness and low saturation, mainly to make the skin and white clothes look cleaner and more breathable, complementing the subtle blue tone of the wig without stealing the show. During post-processing, we also paid attention to retaining some skin texture and clothing fabrics, avoiding excessive airbrushing. Shooting this kind of home style heavily tests the relaxation of facial expressions. Because it isn't a high-amplitude combat stance, emotional expression needs to find emotional support within the gaze and subtle body language to convey the character's gentle and fresh traits. This is also the first time I've shot a blue-and-white home style set, and the final outcome turned out much softer than imagined.
