This time I'm cosplaying Fleurdelis from Wuthering Waves. The part of the overall look that required the most thought was that ice-blue longsword prop. From the gradient paint job on the blade to the subtle pattern details on the hilt, I adjusted it back and forth several times just to achieve that crystal-clear texture from the game. The star halo headpiece on the head and the pointy elf ears are the soul of this character look. To match her cool temperament, I deliberately lowered the brow bone shadow in the makeup and used gray-blue cool tones for the eye makeup. Paired with the long flaxen wig, the overall visual style comes closer to the otherworldly elf vibe of the original design.

In terms of costume, the black and blue color-blocking short dress paired with a semi-translucent outer cape creates a natural swaying motion when walking. However, to maintain sharp lines during sitting shots, I specially spread out the long blue tulle of the back hem on the ground to form a visual extension, making the composition look more stretched out. During the shoot, I tried two angles of holding the weapon, and finally picked this exact moment of holding the sword with both hands and looking down. With eyes lowered slightly, it not only displays the full length of the weapon but also brings out the character's unique sense of aloofness and gentleness.

This kind of cosplay involving hard props is actually a test of body coordination. Because the sword body is quite long, shifting the center of gravity can easily make one look stiff, so I practiced the grip posture and shoulder relaxation in front of the mirror several times before the shoot. This studio session utilized a softbox plus side-backlighting, which beautifully illuminated the contours of the hair strands and the curved surface of the sword. The post-processing involved only basic color grading to preserve the light and shadow texture of the raw photos as much as possible for this Role-playing game showcase. I hope this obsession with character details lets everyone feel my understanding of Fleurdelis through this beautiful Elf ear cosplay and weapon and prop reproduction.
