From finalizing design blueprints to actual convention shooting, Phrolova's outfit gave me the biggest headaches through crisscrossing red strapping and leather accessories. The convention photo sharing captured candidly on-site by photographer WiFi serves as a complete showcase of this costume and styling setup. Image four, featuring a single-leg stance while raising a red flower, was a impromptu pose; the resulting shot not only extended leg lines exceptionally well, but black stockings complemented by red high heels supported the character's overall aura.
Due to the sleeveless, off-the-shoulder design, neck and shoulder load-bearing pressure alongside strap marks were challenges to overcome while wearing this attire. The red-and-white neck collar was quite rigid; it required structural shaping while staying firmly in place during movement. Wrapping red cords around my arms was physically demanding; to create layering and visual tightness, we tied several knots paired with ruffled cuffs to achieve a tough yet glamorous effect.
Regarding waist styling, a large red bow set against the red-and-white tube top visually raised the waistline. The irregular red slit skirt on the lower half tested the photographer's angles. Poses with body extensions like images three and four demanded precise field framing. Convention venues feature heavy overhead lighting alongside diffuse lighting from surrounding booths, so WiFi used portable fill lights with softboxes to suppress ambient glare and highlight color contrast between red garments and teal hair.
The teal long hair styling featured heavy blunt bangs tied into a thick ponytail at the back. The wig felt heavy initially; when executing frequent head raises or side tilts, I took deep breaths to prevent neck muscle imbalances from shifting the wig out of alignment.
Image four stands out as my favorite among these photos due to its rare momentary balance. Standing on one leg while raising a flower shifted my center of gravity, making me worry about stability, yet the skirt's curvature combined with the visual texture of black stockings fulfilled many players' expectations for this character's silhouette.
Convention halls are noisy with complex light environments; capturing sharp, textured images in such settings tests a photographer's judgment. Beyond main subjects, environments feature passersby and equipment. As seen in the last two photos, large black softboxes and tripods in the background highlight how hard-core the shooting process was. These tools ensured image sharpness while allowing leather sections to display clean reflections without crushed blacks.
Wearing red high heels over long shooting sessions caused sore feet, especially when shifting poses constantly to match the shutter. However, the final output made everything feel worthwhile; that high leg kick and frozen stance recreated the character's aloof, sharp, and proud demeanor.
Costume completion relies heavily on early preparation, particularly fitting leather buckles, straps, and hip-mounted red accessories snugly against body contours. This makeup and styling effort strove to match the character's original aloof aura, pairing with a red cord-woven botanical prop to generate tension and floating motion during candid captures. Hearing the photographer call out a good shot made fatigue melt away.
Capturing portraits in bustling convention crowds tests immunity to distractions, requiring graceful posture while avoiding background passersby. Fortunately, WiFi excelled at candid snapshots, alternating wide angles and close-ups without over-relying on heavy post-processing effects, recording authentic light and shadow shifts on location. Without excessive filters, the genuine texture of costumes, makeup, and props shines clearly. This represents more than a convention shoot—it serves as a re-interpretation of character understanding. Seeing completed shots on screen, freezing pure moments amidst convention noise brings immense fulfillment.
