This photoshoot was set in a studio with a pure white backdrop, focusing on highlighting the lively, vibrant energy of Momonoka, the Showa idol in Arknights. For the lighting setup, a softbox and rim lighting were used to give the pink-blonde wig a natural radiant halo, with styled orange-red hair strands on the edges that, paired with red eye makeup, visually matched the character's sweet yet spirited nature.

The costume was the centerpiece of this shoot—a cropped white jacket, a dark blue pleated skirt, and a color-blocked combination of red bows and ribbons, making the overall palette bright and stylish. I specifically adjusted the black and red layering on the belt, as well as the detailed ID badge attached. In the close-up shots, the unbuttoned white jacket reveals the waist-cinching tailoring beneath, while the red tulle splicing on the skirt adds dynamic movement. Especially when sitting on the pedestal posing with a peace sign, the costume structure remained crisp and tidy without looking messy; even the photographer praised how well-tailored and structured the outfit was.

The iconic circular gear-shaped staff prop felt substantial in hand, an exceptionally faithful recreation. Its red-and-white ring body adorned with pointed accents made it very eye-catching, whether held in hand or placed nearby as a decorative element during the shoot. Paired with the red criss-cross lace-up design on the white boots, even while standing bare-legged, visual attention was firmly anchored by this red, white, and blue ensemble.

During the actual shoot, the most energy-draining part was the shot with falling golden confetti. We had to repeatedly calibrate the drop height of the confetti and the timing of my movements to capture that radiant burst as if blooming from the center of the stage. Meanwhile, the fluffy ends of the wig and the translucent red ribbons at the waist billowed at beautiful angles under the fan, greatly enhancing the dynamic tension of the frame.

For the shoot, I deliberately designed multiple angles, ranging from high-energy stage homage poses of a Stage Girl to relatively relaxed seated positions, striving to bring out the confident charm of this Showa idol. This set of photos mainly aims to express the character's bold, sunshiny personality. The clean white backdrop kept all colors crisp and pure; portraying such a high-energy character in this setting was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed. Through these frozen moments captured in this Cosplay photoshoot, I hope to convey this vibrant energy, showcasing the dedication behind this Momonoka cosplay project and the sparkling idol spirit the character represents.
