I was full of anticipation even before shooting this Arknights Ceylon summer swimsuit look. In order to recreate that elegant yet slightly lazy vacation vibe from her official illustration, I made a lot of meticulous preparations, from makeup and hair to the outfit.

Let's start with the core of today's look—the hair and makeup. This pink wig features a very special gradient effect, with the top styled to create a natural fluffiness. The blue feather hair accessories on both sides are the finishing touch; their contrasting colors are extremely vibrant and need to be securely clipped into the exact positions on the hair to recreate that light, fluttering, and highly recognizable visual effect. For the eyebrows and eye makeup, I used an earth-tone base paired with a pair of golden contact lenses to replicate the character's gaze. A transparent base makeup along with just the right amount of blush perfectly enhances this refreshing summer vibe.

Next is the outfit coordination. This royal blue top comes with its own bow tie, and the fabric has a subtle texture that presents great color saturation under the light and shadow. The white lace openwork cover-up worn on the outside is one of the essences of this look; it not only adds layers to the solid-colored inner wear, but its sheer mesh and fringed edges also perfectly fit the lazy vibe of summer vacation style outfits. The white shorts and brown leather belt on the lower body, along with the golden metal buckle at the waist, give the overall look a blend of girlish cuteness and a touch of casual, unisex vitality. The blue feather hair accessory and pearl necklace around the neck also beautifully fills the blank space at the neckline, concentrating the visual focus and elevating the refinement of the whole outfit.

For the set design, I chose a wooden lounge chair as the main prop. During the shoot, the photographer specifically guided me to use the prop at hand to add a sense of interaction—this summer fruit drink. With my hand resting naturally and relaxed behind my head, my body leaning slightly to one side, and my other hand gently holding this orange-yellow sparkling beverage, this pose not only beautifully showcases how the body curves fit the clothing but also allows the audience to feel that cozy sensation of sipping a drink and feeling the sea breeze while holidaying on an island.

The most avoided thing in this type of photography is stiffness. Therefore, during the shooting process, I tried my best to immerse myself in the character's state as an elite young lady enjoying a vacation on a private beach. There was no need to intentionally strike exaggerated poses; simply relaxing the shoulders and neck, focusing on the extension of the gaze, or even just looking at the camera with a natural smile was enough to convey the sense of luxury and approachability expressed in this swimsuit illustration.

In terms of color pairing, the pink, royal blue, and white form a very comfortable contrast of warm and cool tones against the lush tropical greenery in the background. It both echoes the character's main color scheme and avoids looking overly flashy. I believe that a great work of cosplay photography should not only recreate the character's appearance but, more importantly, convey the state the character should be in within a specific context. The final results of today's Ceylon swimsuit set beautifully combine the character's gentle temperament with the lively feel of a summer island. I hope everyone can feel the dedication put into this performance.
