Today I cosplayed Kinomoto Sakura at the World Line Anime convention. This white-and-yellow little angel outfit from Cardcaptor Sakura is actually very sophisticated in terms of fabric and tailoring. The main body of the dress is a white high-neck sleeveless design, with wavy scallop-edged trim at the collar and hem, complemented by a yellow petal-shaped bow tie on the chest. To enhance layering, the outer layer of the dress is pure white, while the inner lining and waist sides are spliced with bright yellow, creating a fabric layering that looks extremely photogenic when walking or sitting. The small gold crown on top of the head and the little white wings on the back are the soul of this styling; the crown was fixed onto the short brown hair using hairspray and bobby pins, while small twin buns were tied on both sides, intentionally leaving out that iconic ahoge (cowlick) to heighten the character's playful charm. Although the wing ornaments on the back are not heavy, having the straps cinched for a long time still creates a feeling of constriction.

A lot of thought was put into this pink wand in hand: the bird-head shape and red gem were given detailed paintwork, and the pink shaft in the middle is just the right length, making it easy to strike spellcasting poses while holding it. To coordinate with the overall palette, I wore White stockings and yellow flats with bows. The crowd flow at the Anime convention was quite heavy, so we found an open space beside a building and set up reflectors and softboxes. Besides standing poses, I particularly enjoyed sitting on the ground during the shoot. For example, sitting directly on the roadside stone steps with legs bent together, gently propping my chin with one hand, and laying the wand across my legs. This pose lowers the visual center of gravity, clearly defining the lines of the White stockings and the zettai ryouiki, while allowing the skirt hem to spread naturally to reveal the yellow fabric inside, achieving a great effect using leading-line composition.

In terms of makeup, to restore the character's youthful look, the base makeup was kept clear and sheer, with emphasis placed on the eye makeup and blush. I wore translucent blue-gray contact lenses and slightly pulled down the outer corners of the eyes to create an innocent look, sweeping blush generously across the apples of my cheeks to boost rosiness. Hugging the knees or half-squatting poses also yielded great shots, but care must be taken to keep the back straight, otherwise it easily looks lethargic. Although wearing flats, walking around the venue for a long time was still tiring; fortunately, the character portrayed is naturally full of vitality, so as long as smiles and playfulness were brought forth, the hit rate of great shots was high.

Walking around the Anime convention, I was recognized by many fellow fans; everyone helped each other adjust outfits and queued up waiting to take photos. Hearing people call out 'Moe Queen Sakura' made me so happy; this photo set also aims to record the unique charm of Cardcaptor Sakura, presenting the lively and energetic side of the character.
