This time, I am bringing you a Yvonne cosplay photo set from Arknights: Endfield. From the very first glance at her character design sheet, I was captivated by her look that blends techwear style with wasteland vitality. The contrasting bright pink and lake blue pop out exceptionally well against the dim industrial background, which is why I decided to set the photoshoot in this warehouse filled with pipes, iron racks, and old tires.

Restoring the costume and props took the most effort this time. That iconic mechanical tail took nearly two weeks of handcrafting—from the internal skeleton to the color-separated spray painting of the outer layer, every single scale segment had to be individually sanded and assembled. To ensure the tail could drape and swing naturally in different poses, it was designed with multiple articulation joints inside. The demon horns on the head were thickened and finished with a gradient paint effect, which, paired with the custom little demon ears, instantly brought out the character's powerful aura once put on. Although the toy gun in my hand looks a bit like a children's plastic toy at first glance, it was actually completely repainted and recustomized with decals, with a slight weathering effect applied to the grip to better match the wasteland vibe of Endfield.

On the day of the shoot, the venue was equipped with artificial smoke and warm-toned industrial lighting. When the light hit the translucent pink hair strands and glossy materials, the atmospheric blend of cyberpunk and wasteland instantly reached its peak. To capture Yvonne's vibe of being both playful and combat-ready, I tried different poses such as aiming the gun, stepping up the stairs, and casually flipping my hair with one hand. In every shot, I did my best to create an organic interaction between my body lines and the props, rather than just standing there stiffly.

For the post-processing color grading, I retained a bit of film grain while deepening the shadows in the background to make the pink and blue color scheme the absolute focal point of the visuals. This shoot could be considered a small challenge for my prop-making skills and camera presence. Bringing a favorite character from a flat 2D plane into a realistic, three-dimensional form and capturing the ideal atmosphere brought a true sense of fulfillment. I hope these photos allow fellow fans to feel the unique aesthetics of survival and exploration within the world of Endfield.
