[Multi-Style Cosplay Log] Harbin cosplay & Daqing: Making Anime Friends, Photography and Styling Routine

I've compiled my recent shoots featuring different wigs and outfits into this log. The photos encompass diverse attempts including casual Convention photos, ancient Chinese styles, fantasy elves, and anime-styled shota themes. Although my IP location is based in Harbin and Daqing, I'm usually away during winter and summer breaks, so I wanted to seize the time while here to shoot several sets and promptly record different states of myself in this Harbin cosplay journey.

Some looks in the photos were suited for lively convention atmospheres—for example, the red-and-white jacket paired with a black skirt was shot against the convention hall's overhead steel trusses, being light and comfortable for running around to capture dynamic snapshots in Convention photos. On the other hand, the angel styling with a feathered shawl and a floating halo overhead was specifically shot in an indoor studio; paired with a red velvet throne prop and warm-toned lighting, the resulting texture turned out exceptionally delicate, requiring only basic color grading in post to preserve the authentic lighting atmosphere.

In truth, I'm somewhat socially anxious and rarely have the courage to approach strangers at conventions for photo collection, preferring pre-arranged photoshoots or convention meetups confirmed through online chat. Over my years in cosplay and Roleplay, my mindset has shifted toward personal archiving and dedication to the hobby, while becoming more prudent. Politely declining connections under 16 is a realistic consideration—as an adult, I prefer communicating with peers who share social experience and uphold principles. Additionally, I respectfully decline toxic subcultures, drama-mongers, or faceless/inactive accounts; I don't want negative habits intruding into the community, as a clean, healthy atmosphere for Making anime friends is essential for sustaining this passion long-term.

In post-processing, I generally maintain the realistic texture of the photos, focusing on preserving the authentic mood of that moment rather than blindly chasing exaggerated special effects.

Winters in Harbin and Daqing are freezing and summers scorching, but passion for outdoor Harbin cosplay and photoshoots always overcomes environmental constraints.
