Doctor, today I bring you a White Rabbit creamy candy themed cosplay of Amiya. A lot of thought went into the costume and props for this styling, and it was also my first time attempting this combination in a nighttime setting. Let's start with the wardrobe details: the dress features a blue-and-white plaid pattern interlaced with fine pink threads, creating subtle, iridescent color shifts under the ambient lights. The bodice features a white turn-down collar accented with red piping along the rim, while the lace ruffles on the chest and the oversized white apron at the back add structural definition to the dress silhouette. The cuffs are finished with matching scalloped white edges, harmonizing with the collar's design motif. The most charming feature is undoubtedly the printed band across the skirt hem, lined with a continuous border of white bunny illustrations that appear to circle around me as the skirt billows while walking.
For the wig, I selected a brown twin-tail style. To inject a lively touch, light blue dip-dyed highlights were added to the tips, paired with neat blunt bangs tailored to frame my face contours. The Bunny ears prop atop my head has plush white fur on the inner side, while the outer shade closely mirrors the wig for a cohesive look. Complementing the overall blue-and-white palette, bright blue colored contacts were paired with subtle deepening around the outer corners of the eyes and a soft wash of blush across the cheeks, striving for a fresh, natural complexion on camera; the base makeup remained clean and dewy so it wouldn't look heavy under high-intensity night fill lights. The footwear consisted of black platform leather shoes and white ruffled lace socks, cleanly balancing the visual complexity of the skirt while facilitating movement across the plaza.
The White Rabbit creamy candy pillow in my arms was the absolute star of this shoot—much larger than I had anticipated, covering more than half of my torso when held close. Its surface is printed with the classic blue, white, and red motifs alongside lettering, feeling wonderfully soft and squishy. Centered around the theme of 'Doctor, have some candy,' we designed several interactive poses: cradling the plush pillow under one arm while flashing a peace sign to the lens, lifting the pillow with both hands while tilting my head slightly, or gently touching the bunny ear prop beside my head. To keep these poses organic, I continually adjusted my center of gravity to preserve the volume of the flared skirt while keeping the candy pillow's artwork fully visible.
The location was set in an urban city plaza at night, where surrounding high-rises and street lamps formed beautifully staggered bokeh in the background. Illumination is always the biggest hurdle in night photography: we utilized streetlamps as the key light, setting up an auxiliary fill light to evenly illuminate my face while preserving the nocturnal ambiance, allowing the soft optical blur to isolate the subject. In my character interactions, I strove to embody Amiya's balance of resolute Rhodes Island leadership and tender, childlike charm. Pairing the White Rabbit motif with this character aimed to convey a relaxed, everyday warmth—like handing over a piece of candy amidst intense missions. The shoot went seamlessly, and the blue-and-white styling delivered a truly comfortable aesthetic in the night air.
