[Grand Noah cosplay] A day of holding the Grand Noah plushie tightly at the anime convention

Holding the Grand Noah plushie at the anime convention today truly made me unable to walk away. As both an Arknights player and a coser, I prepared for quite a while to cosplay Grand Noah this time. From wig trimming to makeup details, every step was repeatedly adjusted. The biggest highlight of this styling is the white hair with neat bangs paired with a black plush cat-ear hat, plus heterogeneous circle lenses—the left eye is ice blue and the right eye is golden yellow; this asymmetric visual effect photographs exceptionally well under convention lights. The eye makeup used red-toned eyeshadow, and the overall makeup tone leans toward cold fair skin, making it look a bit yandere yet somewhat cute. To maintain the fluffiness of the wig, I also brought a small comb and styling spray to the exhibition site to groom it at any moment; after all, conventions are crowded and wigs get messy easily.
I ran into a familiar photography friend at the site who was holding a super-sized Grand Noah plush plushie. The moment I saw it, I hugged it directly and completely refused to let go. This plushie features that chibi big-head design, wearing a black hat with gold stripes, white hair, big red eyes, pink blush on the cheeks, and dressed in black-and-white clothes with colorful dot decorations, making it extremely faithful to the source. In my own hand, I was holding a smaller plushie, also with white hair, blue eyes, wearing a white hat with blue stripes, and dressed in a nurse-like outfit; having the two plushies together—one large and one small—was particularly interesting. My friend said he specifically brought this large plushie from home because he thought it matched my styling, and he didn't expect me to hug it directly and not let go.
The lighting at the convention site is actually quite complex, with the industrial-style lighting on the venue ceiling combined with various photography lights creating a high contrast ratio. To take good selfies, I deliberately found an angle with relatively even face lighting. Today's outfit was actually quite warm; the black plush scarf not only fits the character styling but is also very practical in the exhibition hall with strong air conditioning. When holding the large plushie, the makeup on my face and the layering of the wig could both be displayed very well. In the background, many photography equipment and passing staff can be seen; this kind of exhibition atmosphere is truly wonderful.
As someone who frequently does cosplay, I believe the most important thing to portray a role well is details and state. The essence of Grand Noah's character lies in that somewhat lazy yet mysterious temperament. When I held the plushie and let my gaze drift slightly, the effect came right out. Chatting with friends in the exhibition hall for a long time, we exchanged insights on recent convention shoots and some post-processing color-grading ideas. The material of the plushie is very soft, and I couldn't help pinching it constantly while taking pictures, which can be considered a small bliss at the convention. The entire shooting process went very smoothly, and the selfies turned out very natural, possessing a strong sense of atmosphere without requiring much post-processing. Carrying my bag and walking through the exhibition hall for most of the day today, although my body was very tired, seeing the finished photos and the large plushie in my arms made me feel it was all completely worth it. I look forward to encountering more interesting plushies and photography friends at the next convention to continue recording these happy moments.
