[Shenhe cosplay] Genshin Impact: Parvati, a Fleeting Aloof Moment at the Convention

Shot a series of Shenhe as the snowy mountain maiden Parvati at the convention today, and I'm sharing the styling and shooting process.

The wig looks deceptively simple, but taming it was an ordeal. Between the subtle cowlick at the crown, the heavy side-swept bangs, and the long braid trailing down the back, everything required precise cutting and setting. To avoid a stiff, lacquered finish, I dialed back the hairspray and finger-styled the strands for a natural, slightly disheveled aloofness. Letting the long fringe veil one eye alongside icy blue contact lenses instantly grounded her aura.

Makeup favored a clean, ethereal porcelain finish. Soft pink-red eyeshadow was smudged along the outer corners to deepen the gaze and add a razor-sharp, otherworldly focus. The base was kept lightweight and breathable to retain natural skin texture directly out of the camera without heavy smoothing.

The wardrobe's layered architecture is stunning: a sleeveless high-neck white top elongates the torso, punctuated by cyan Chinese frog buttons at the collar. Layered over it, semi-sheer white and baby-blue tulle swirled gracefully in motion. Wrapped several times around the waist, the blue printed sashes formed the soul of the look, sharply complemented by a vibrant red belt for bold color contrast. Posing with the heavy polearm prop strained my wrists in the humid convention hall, yet low-angle upward framing integrated the venue's circular dome lights into a dramatic sense of spatial depth. Moving with gathered fingers and an unearthly stare brought this Anime cosplay to life, making every ounce of effort completely worthwhile.
