I completed Marie's gym uniform look from Blue Archive in studio this time, hoping to restore the relaxed feeling after exercising together through these Sporty convention photos. The outfit is a classic white short-sleeved T-shirt paired with navy blue athletic shorts, a blue-and-white color scheme that always carries a refreshing sporty vibe. I wore iconic animal ears and flower decorations on my head, along with that prominent yellow halo; although they are wigs and props, putting them on instantly brought a strong sense of character immersion. A STAFF ID card with an orange lanyard hangs on my chest, which is also a crucial detail in this character's styling.
White thigh-high socks paired with platform blue-and-white panel sneakers give the lower body a very stable visual balance, forming a lovely White thigh-highs outfit. A water bottle was prepared as a prop for this shoot because it aligns with the theme of inviting Sensei to exercise. In Figure 1, a squatting pose was used with the bottle lifted to the lips, carrying an unguarded clarity in the eyes that caught a small resting gesture. Figure 2 shows a cross-legged sitting posture holding the bottle with both hands, closer to a daily conversational stance. For Figure 3, I chose a forward-leaning standing posture—a composition deliberately designed with a strong interactive feel, as if preparing water on the sidelines to hand to Sensei after exercising, carrying focus and a hint of expectation. In Figure 4, I stretched my arms out in a lazy stretch pose with the bottle placed on the ground, expressing post-workout relaxation while maintaining a balance between leg lines and overall outfit unity.
As a creation for the fan festival, I tried to stay as close to the original art style in makeup and hair as possible, especially eye shadow and lip makeup, maintaining Marie's slightly cool yet gentle demeanor for this Anime cosplay project. The photographer used a clean, pure white background to focus attention entirely on fabric texture and posture extension. The wig was treated for a glossy golden sheen, and the transition between head flowers and animal ears was tuned to avoid obvious props breaking character during dynamic movement. A white jacket tied at the waist added depth to the sporty look while echoing her vibrant yet refined personality.
The biggest challenge during shooting was balancing athletic energy with girlhood charm. The gym uniform element carries inherent vitality, but holding a water bottle, tilting the head to drink, and leaning forward to offer water prevented stiff posing. The blue-and-white canvas shoes were also carefully selected; considering the pairing between white thigh-high socks and shorts, the color logic of this Marie cosplay outfit is highly unified.
For classic Anime cosplay athletic outfits like this, accuracy often depends on fine details: floating angle of the halo, position of animal ears, black collar piping, etc. Figure 1 captured the character's spirit during a drinking moment with compact, centered composition without blocking. Figure 3 is also impactful—the reaching hand gives an illusion of wanting to respond immediately, as if Marie would say her familiar line next second.
As Sporty convention photos themed around sports, daily life, and interaction, I tried to give each photo a distinct emotion. Using a water bottle prop in a blue-and-white space provided a realistic contrast I valued highly. Wearing a complete workout suit, I made casual postures to match.
Lastly, although these are Sporty convention photos, facing the camera allowed me to step into her mindset, conveying Marie's cleanliness, focus, and trust in Sensei through eyes and gestures. Hope this photo set brings viewers an energetic atmosphere ready to exercise anytime, anywhere.
