[Sunna cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Anime Expo On-Site Photos

At Guangzhou CICF this time, I transformed into Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero, taking on this gorgeous KFC collaboration design. To embody Sunna's bubbly, energetic, and slightly mischievous aura, I poured considerable thought into the hair, makeup, and action choreography. Starting with the costume, the pink-and-white color-blocked dress features multiple layers of tiered ruffles crafted from lightweight fabric, creating stunning sweeping arcs whenever I moved or leaped. The white belt at the waist cinches the silhouette cleanly, which, paired with the pink backpack and miniature wings on my back, instantly enriched the overall dimensional layering. For hair, I went with a fluffy mint-green twintail wig accented with black heart-shaped sunglasses perched on the crown, while the red choker featuring a little yellow chick charm served as the crowning touch. Slipping into this ensemble infused over half of the character's soul immediately. For makeup, bright green contact lenses were paired with enhanced eye contours and layered eyeshadow to bring out anime-style definition, making the eyes appear remarkably vibrant. The oversized megaphone blaster prop carried noticeable weight with intricate detailing. To ensure dynamic shot quality, I explored numerous airborne leaping poses, which best captured Sunna's vivacious personality. Balancing on one tiptoe or freezing in mid-air required core engagement to stabilize the torso while maintaining facial composure so gestures wouldn't look stiff or frantic. Styled with pink thigh garters, white knee-high Stockings, and chunky platform sneakers, these action stances brought tremendous visual punch to the frames. The convention hall's dim environment with rows of overhead lights genuinely tested the photographer's fast-shutter reaction. Powerful speedlights illuminated the subject cleanly while distant background lights formed natural bokeh depth. Freezing the leaping moments was the toughest part: timing is fleeting, requiring several takes to nail that sweet spot where the skirt billowed beautifully while keeping my face and props completely unobstructed. Several shots even created an effortless illusion of floating in mid-air. Throughout shooting, I stayed mindful of sustaining Sunna's signature lively spirit. Leaning forward slightly to adjust the sunglasses, raising the blaster to aim, or balancing on a single foot—each frame needed to radiate spirited vitality. In high-traffic convention venues, tuning out peripheral noise and channeling peak emotional energy through the lens is essential. These event photos captured all the joy of that moment, and I hope everyone loves this spunky, motivated Sunna.
