For this shoot at the Hangzhou China International Cartoon and Animation Festival, I finally managed to recreate Columbina's iconic white feathers and blue-and-white dress. From the red-to-black gradient of the wig to the wing-shaped hair accessories on my head, every tiny detail was crafted to stay as true to the character as possible. Especially those huge white wings—to capture a sense of lightness, we adjusted the angles in the studio many times, but fortunately, the final results made it all worth it. During the shoot, we specifically chose a platform with water-ripple reflections. Combined with the broken pillars and fallen flowers, it created an atmosphere somewhere between sacred and lonely, as if the character were sitting alone on a crescent moon, gazing at the sky. The photographer was great at capturing light and shadow, perfectly bringing out the translucency of the wings and the satin texture of the dress. The composition of the entire scene makes it feel as though you've truly stepped into Teyvat. Although my movement was a bit restricted in this outfit, being able to present a character I love through photography is highly fulfilling in itself. The post-processing for this set also focused on enhancing the dreamlike vibe, making the colors of the image cleaner and more transparent. The atmosphere at the Hangzhou China International Cartoon and Animation Festival is always fantastic, and I was genuinely happy to meet so many fellow fans there this time. I hope my love for Genshin Impact and Columbina can be passed on to everyone through these photos.
