The craftsmanship and fabric texture of the custom outfits from This Dimension Radio are truly top-notch. This time, I challenged two different looks, Dorothy and Mihara, and I also want to thank photographer Feiyu for capturing every moment throughout the shoot.

Dorothy's styling focuses on the intricate ruffles and the highly impactful color contrast. The dark-style little black dress in the photos has a beautifully voluminous layered skirt, which, paired with the small black wings on the back and the collar around the neck, gives off an evil yet playful agility. The other white tulle version takes a dreamy route; the lightweight, sheer material and three-dimensional flower embroidery demand extremely high standards for lighting. Feiyu handled the highlights perfectly, making me look like an elf stepping right out of a pure white piano.

On the other hand, Mihara's styling is a completely different vibe, leaning towards a dark, restrictive aesthetic. The combination of leather straps and metal rivets requires a high degree of body-hugging fit while also balancing comfort during movement. This semi-sheer black leather spliced bodysuit and thigh ring design are extremely complex, taking quite a bit of time to put on, take off, and adjust. The action of pulling the chains during the shoot was quite physically demanding, but it perfectly recreated the character's sharp, confrontational aura. The other look, featuring a pure white corset and a red rose neck ornament, carries a vintage aristocratic flavor; paired with a red wine glass and a floor covered in red candles and flower petals, the atmosphere of the scene was instantly maximized.

This shoot had a wide span, ranging from a bright and pure piano room to a scholarly vintage darkroom, and finally to a black-and-gray toned space filled with iron chain props; the prop team put a lot of thought into the scene layouts. As a cosplayer who frequently experiments with different styles, I find the most intriguing part is showcasing completely distinct character traits through costumes, makeup, styling, and various studio environments. Whether it's the gorgeousness of Gothic elements or the toughness of leather elements, as long as the outfit's tailoring and fit are on point, the shooting process becomes much smoother. Every time I see the final finished photos, I feel that all the early preparation and exhaustion were completely worth it during this session of Cosplay photography.
