The shoot actually kicked off in the afternoon, when the slanting sunlight hit the pool's surface, creating gorgeous sparkling ripples. We chose styling with a built-in pink and blue palette, which paired wonderfully with the palm trees around the park and the distant Ferris wheel exterior view.

Starting with hair and makeup, both wigs were styled with distinctive braids, hiding yellow hair ties and little duck clips inside to accentuate that crisp freshness. For the Anime-style makeup, we went with heterochromatic eyes—one golden yellow and one blue-violet—to echo the overall color harmony. Blush and eyeshadow were kept in translucent pink and blue tones, which, catching the pool's water reflections, gave the skin a fantastic radiant glow.

For the outfit coordination, we selected semi-sheer crop tops paired with denim shorts, adding white lace leg bands and chunky platform heeled sandals for finer detail. The starfish and seashell necklaces were the crowning touches. Walking in heels was certainly tricky, especially around the slippery poolside where extra caution was needed.

Doing this Duo photoshoot with Amis was even more fun than expected. The photographer had us coordinate with water guns and inflatable swim rings. At first, standing straight in front of the lens felt a bit stiff, but the photographer guided us to relax—squatting by the pool edge or leaning on bar stools—to better showcase our leg contours and the fluid lines of our outfits for this Swimsuit portrait. Extra care was required with fill lighting during close-ups, as the afternoon sun easily cast harsh facial shadows, so the photographer added bright frontal fill light to make the skin look more translucent.

During post-processing, we didn't force a specific color aesthetic, focusing instead on restoring summer's clear, refreshing hues, slightly brightening the pool water's blue and the outfits' pink and purple. The distant Ferris wheel exterior view served nicely as a backdrop to introduce spatial depth, keeping the frame from feeling flat.

Reviewing the camera previews after the shoot, it felt like we genuinely captured that distinct summer blend of languid ease and brightness—a perfect memento to close out this summer.
