[Columbina Cosplay] The Serene Sound of the Fatui Damselette in Genshin Impact

This time, I bring you a cosplay of Columbina, the Fatui Damselette from Genshin Impact. This costume has a lot of details; from the flowing blue-and-white sheer gauze to the star and moon ornaments on the chest, as well as those exquisite straps and cutout designs, every part is recreated with excellent texture. On the day of the shoot, we chose a pure white-themed European-style studio scene. The geometric lines of the window frames and the blue-and-white floral arrangements perfectly echoed the character's ethereal, serene, yet slightly mysterious temperament.

The wig was specially given a gradient treatment, with black hair transitioning into red ends. Combined with the white feather hair accessories on top of the head, it creates a rich sense of layering visually. For the makeup, I leaned toward soft eyeshadow and light-colored lip makeup. Combined with the expression of closed eyes, I wanted to stay as close as possible to the character's vibe of seemingly humming softly and being immersed in her own world through this Anime-style makeup. The details of the shoes are also very special; the straps wrap around the calves, and with the blue spherical decorations at the ankles, there is a slight swaying motion when walking, adding to the agility of the overall look.

During the shoot, I tried several different postures. The sitting pose beautifully displays the drape of the costume and the lightness of the gauze, while a slightly tilted head angle captures the lines of the neck and shoulders. The lighting in this set of photos was handled very softly. The high-key frame makes my skin tone look translucent, blending seamlessly with the white-and-blue tones of the costume.

In fact, every time I do a Roleplay of characters with fantasy elements, it takes a lot of time to adjust the position of the wig and the fit of the costume, especially those ribbons—we have to ensure they have a flowing effect in front of the lens without appearing messy. I am personally quite satisfied with the overall effect this time, and I hope to convey Columbina's ethereal, otherworldly vibe through this session of Cosplay photography.
