The outdoor area of an Outdoor anime convention in midsummer is indeed a test of endurance, but the sunlight and blue sky are also the absolute best for great photos. This time, I brought a large toy water gun as a prop, which not only echoes the refreshing blue and white theme colors in the match but also makes my whole mood for roaming the convention incredibly light whenever I pick it up.

For clothing, I chose a thin and breathable sheer sun-protection jacket; a gentle breeze can lift the hem, adding a bit of elegant dynamic movement. The inner wear is a basic black bikini, paired with a blue choker and fabric tie-straps at the waist, making it look visually layered yet clean-cut. The shorts have a very comfortable cut, which, together with the black-and-white thick-soled sandals, makes it easy to exert force even when standing outdoors all day, or standing on one leg and taking big strides and jumps like in the photos.

The light was extremely bright during the shoot, so we perfectly utilized the light filtering from the top of the convention buildings and the projections on the ground, making the highlights and shadows a part of the composition. Since the prop is a bright yellow water gun, it forms a visual jump of contrasting colors with the blue and white outfit.

Regarding poses, there is actually no need to intentionally force exaggerated shapes. Actions like kneeling on one knee and playfully winking, casually touching the brim of the hat, or naturally reaching out while striding forward will bring out the tension of the frame. In the photo where I'm sitting on the ground, I deliberately placed a little yellow duck in front of the lens to let it enter the frame, adding a bit of a playful, lifelike vibe.

That's the beauty of a convention—you meet many like-minded friends and can easily capture many unexpectedly beautiful moments. Every different set of gear swapped for roaming the floor records the happiness and spontaneity of the moment. In this outfit, accessories like the water gun, hat, and sunglasses all played an excellent embellishing role for the final presentation. As long as you choose the right small items that match the environment and temperament, the completion of the entire photo will be significantly higher.

During the shooting process, we occasionally encountered curious glances from passersby, but it is precisely in this public outdoor environment that the sense of ease and freedom can be fully expressed. I love this kind of pairing that delivers great results without being overly complicated, ensuring the visual impact while allowing me to maintain my absolute best state during the Summer cosplay experience.
