This photoshoot of Sunna perfectly captured her Delusion Angel form—a character design packed with a hint of rebelliousness and an explosion of sweetness. The white puff-sleeve shirt visually maximizes freshness right away, but when paired with the red tie featuring white stars and the layered black ruffled skirt, it immediately brings out that playful charm of her 'victim role.' For hair accessories, I deliberately chose a large turquoise bow with star and moon clips, matching the light blonde curls of the wig impeccably to look energetic without missing fine details.
My favorite part is definitely the pink-and-white striped arm sleeves and matching slouch socks, which, paired with platform shoes, pushed the cyber-gaming aesthetic to a solid ten out of ten under the neon lights. During the shoot, the studio was decorated with vintage television sets and a 'GAMING ZONE' neon sign. Combined with the white-and-pink megaphone blaster in hand, whether resting my chin on an old TV or jumping on one leg for an action snap, it all blended seamlessly into the scene. To capture that spirit of being both sweet and sassy, I fine-tuned my expressions and poses repeatedly; Sunna's personality blends natural innocence with a touch of cunning, making subtle gazes and slight smirks crucial.
Prop-wise, the details on that large pink backpack were truly well-crafted—the black vinyl speaker on the side is instantly recognizable. During the shoot, a pink shopping cart was also used as a prop; that interactive feeling of being 'pushed along' perfectly resonated with her character setting of being slightly passive yet defiant. The entire shooting process went very smoothly. The photographer managed the lighting and shadows masterfully; the purple-pink neon lights provided a fantastic base tone for the skin, neither overly warm nor excessively cool, flawlessly matching the distinct translucent brightness of anime aesthetics.
I'm thoroughly pleased with the final quality—whether in full-body standing shots or close-up portraits, the fabric textures and delicate accessories stand out clearly. Although this styling has many accessories, it doesn't feel bulky at all; instead, thanks to the vivid color contrasts, it carries a strong presence on camera. That's the beauty of doing anime cosplay—bringing a beloved character to life is a deeply rewarding experience in itself.
