[Chisa cosplay] Wuthering Waves After-School Desk Time

This time doing the Chisa cosplay official photos from Wuthering Waves, the overall goal was to express a school atmosphere with a sense of daily life yet a tiny bit of distant vibe. To ensure the character's restoration, a lot of thought went into preparation from makeup and styling to costumes. The wig chose a straight black hair with blunt bangs, trimmed with neat layering, and a thin long red ribbon tied on the right side as an embellishment. In terms of makeup, to match the characteristics of the character's setting, I wore bright red contact lenses, and the eyeshadow and under-eye blush both chose red-toned smudging, while the lip makeup also chose a deep red series, attempting to present a texture leaning towards a 2D doll in front of the lens.
The layering of the costume is a part I really love. The inner wear is a dark blue cropped sailor top, with a white collar featuring dark stripes, revealing the waistline, and a bright red tie tied at the chest with a white cross pattern on it. Draped outside is a grayish-blue long trench coat featuring tactical elements like black straps and zippers, with a white cross-shaped decoration on the right sleeve. To avoid the overall styling being too thin, I also matched it with a black choker featuring a square metal buckle. The lower wear is a dark blue pleated short skirt, paired with a black belt with a metal buckle, and a tag-like badge hanging at the waistline. The legs wear black semi-transparent over-the-knee Stockings with a black wide hem, paired with black garter belts, and on the feet are black glossy platform loafers. The brown vintage leather briefcase held in hand was also meant to add details to the overall campus setting.
This shoot was conducted in a pure white studio, and I'm especially grateful to photographer @-Kongbai- for capturing and lighting arrangement. To match the theme "Senior, shall we walk home together after school?", we used school desks and chairs as props; the bright orange desktop formed a great color contrast with the overall cool-toned costume. In pose design, we tried various sitting postures, such as crossing legs to showcase the lines of the black stockings and platform shoes, or crossing hands on the knees looking straight at the lens, as well as standing with the coat half-draped while looking back, and sitting in front of the desk posing with gestures. Every movement tried to fit the character's temperament intertwined with a bit of playfulness and high coldness. The action of lifting the skirt hem and the one-handed gesture were also to display the tailoring and layering of the clothes.
For this set of official photos, whether from the costume's restoration degree or the scene's atmosphere, I hope to bring everyone a good visual experience. Although there might be my personal understanding in grasping the expression and temperament, please bear with me if there are any OOC (Out of Character) moments. Being able to present a vivid image in this way has been a very pleasant shooting experience for me.
