This shoot for Cantarella Fisalia cosplay was completed in Studio No. 81. The main goal for this session was to faithfully recreate the character's calm, elegant, and slightly aloof demeanor from Wuthering Waves, with photographers Taibai and Yuehui providing tremendous support in light and shadow control.

First, let's talk about the subtle thoughts behind hair and makeup. The overall makeup followed a translucent, cool-toned aesthetic, intentionally building ice-blue layers for eye shadow, paired with light-colored contact lenses to sharpen the gaze. The beauty mark retained at the corner of the lip serves as the finishing touch, adding authentic dynamism. The wig color is a cool, light purple with silver-gray undertones, lightly curled and thinned to give the crown and ends a fluffy texture without feeling dull.

Recreating the costume's texture was top priority. The top features a white lace-paneled fitted corset with a deep V-neckline and exquisite stitching, while glossy, structured fabric was chosen for the waist sides and shoulders to hold the silhouette. Finding the fabric for the white-and-blue gradient of the coat and skirt took a long time—the base layer is breathable, soft chiffon, overlaid with fine pearlescent mesh tulle, giving the skirt a subtle flowing shimmer as I walked. The inner blue mesh skirt uses irregular cuts and paneling to reveal the underlying white shorts nicely. The flutter sleeves are paired with blue-and-white ribbon armbands, creating rich visual layering in this Anime-style fashion outfit.

For props, we selected a parasol and small pastries to match different poses. The blue-and-white pleated parasol held in the photos features a reflective canvas with white lace trim, rendering distinct texture under cool studio lights. The shots holding small cakes were meant to introduce a playful contrast within the high-cold demeanor, accentuating subtle facial expressions.

To showcase this outfit's features, we designed various poses during shooting. When standing, focus was placed on utilizing the broad white-to-blue gradient skirt, stretching it outward to visually elongate proportions. Seated poses involved straddling a Roman column to highlight leg lines paired with heels. Over the white thigh-high socks, a layer of sheer white stockings was added, pairing with pointed pure white heels to become a highlight in the cool-toned frame without stealing the outfit's spotlight.

Studio construction was equally meticulous: background featured European black-and-white geometric arch frames flanked by symmetrical white and light blue floral arrangements, with floor covered in white tulle to soften scene texture. Large white space and cool light environments heavily test post-processing color control, but clean baseline studio lighting established accurate raw tones for Cosplay photography.

Overall, this was a thoroughly gratifying shoot that attempted to recreate key visual elements of Cantarella Fisalia, from tailoring to posing. I hope this share offers inspiration for similar Roleplay styling and Anime-style fashion sets.
