This time, Hifumi from Blue Archive undergoes a shooting experience at the seaside as night falls. I specially chose this white ruffled swimsuit, combining it with the yellow halo headpiece and sunglasses, to recreate the character's playful and cute aura. For props, a blue-and-white swim ring and a translucent beach tote bag were prepared, fitting the overall casual and vibrant summer setting.

The lighting on the beach at night is quite complex, so special attention was paid to the transition between highlights and shadows when filling light, striving to make the skin texture look natural while giving the clothing folds a three-dimensional light and shadow effect. At dusk, the remaining glow of the sky met the artificial light sources, adding a layer of soft and dramatic color to the entire frame. During the shoot, the evening breeze blew through the hair and the edges of the clothes, bringing a dynamic, casual beauty, and many vivid moments were captured on set.

Focusing on the tailoring details of the costume and the recreation of accessories, only by implementing every element from the original setting can an anime character shine with authentic charm in a real-world scene. In terms of composition, this set of photos experimented with sitting, standing, and interacting with the palm tree background, aiming to display the character's posture and expressions from multiple angles. The beach cooled down very quickly at night, but to present a good result for this anime-style photoshoot, I remained focused and completed the entire shooting plan.

Every time a swimsuit cosplay set is produced, it is a deep interpretation of the character design rather than just superficial imitation; only by blending into the scene and experiencing the character's personality can static photography works possess an extended sense of narrative. Under the night view atmosphere, using strong light to outline the silhouette, paired with the sandy texture of the beach, the overall image displays a romantic and relaxed holiday vibe. This shooting attempt for Hifumi made me realize once again the importance of capturing scene lighting for cosplay, and it was also a basic exercise for my post-processing aesthetics. Sharing this set of photos is actually because I want to discuss lighting ideas for night swimsuit cosplay with everyone, exploring how to balance ambient light and the main light source.
