A tremendous amount of thought went into the preliminary makeup, styling, and preparation for this Shirasu Azusa Swimsuit cosplay set. Upon receiving this swimsuit design, my immediate impression was its exceptionally rich color palette. To match the texture of the character's silver-white long hair, the wig trimming and styling process was far more complex than usual, requiring the bangs across the forehead to be groomed into a natural fluffiness to avoid looking stiff. Regarding makeup, purple contact lenses are the soul of the look; the eye makeup utilized a pink-purple color scheme to add depth, paired with a heavy sweep of blended pink blush and glossy lip tint, crafting a visual effect that feels slightly tipsy yet lively beneath the scorching summer sun.

The costume details are exceptionally rich. The top features a strapless bandeau design combining black and pink-and-white stripes, with a massive pink bow across the chest that immediately catches the eye; to ensure it maintained a three-dimensional shape, plenty of structural support material was packed inside. The lower half consists of a pink tiered mini skirt, with each layer featuring meticulous striped pleats, matched with deep blue bows that create a striking color contrast. The translucent sheer sleeve covers on the arms and the white wing design on the back are highlights of this outfit; when walking or posing, the sleeve covers and the floor-sweeping long sheer drapes behind trail down naturally, requiring constant attention to their positioning to prevent them from tangling together before the lens. The wedge sandals on my feet, adorned with deep blue satin ribbon bows, elevated my height, yet shooting required deliberate control over the arch of my feet to capture smooth, fluid leg lines.

To recreate the atmosphere of a Summer beach, immense thought was poured into the indoor set design. Highly reflective materials were laid across the ground to simulate shimmering water surfaces, complemented by artificial coconut trees and bamboo sections in the background. The props team prepared wooden folding beach chairs, blue-and-white inflatable swim rings, and wooden slat crates filled with apples, oranges, and other fruits. During the shoot, figuring out how to interact naturally with these props became a major task. When sitting on the beach chair, the crossing angle of the legs required careful adjustment to prevent awkward creases in the skirt while maximizing the display of the costume's layering; when standing with the swim ring, the center of gravity had to rest on a single leg with the other leg slightly lifted, allowing the entire body to project a relaxed yet lightweight state. For the watermelon-eating photo, to make the plump red flesh of the watermelon echo the frame's color scheme, the fruit-holding posture and slight head-tilt angle were tested iteratively across multiple attempts.

Lighting control during studio photography also required considerable effort. Although indoors, to mimic the texture of glaring outdoor summer sunlight, the lighting technician deployed strong light sources for rim/back-lit effects, which tested the longevity of facial makeup while demanding sustained gaze focus under bright highlights. Due to the intense lighting, the complex purple flowers on the head, the yellow-and-blue striped fabric, and the lemon slice hair ornaments were prone to glaring reflections before the lens, requiring continuous fine-tuning of the light source angles. Though this costume features higher skin exposure, the layered fabrics and intricate accessories made the shooting process far from easy; behind every seemingly casual pose lay precise control over muscle exertion points.

The final visual output radiates an exceptionally refreshing and lively overall ambiance. From the color scheme coordination to scene construction, every effort was made to showcase the unique vacation vibe characteristic of Blue Archive in summer. During subsequent photo selection, looking at these vivid, color-rich, clean-composition frames made all the preliminary hassle feel thoroughly worthwhile, marking a wonderfully comprehensive visual delivery of this character's swimsuit styling.
