Today we are shooting Malymoon's tweed bunny theme. The whole shooting process was much smoother than expected, basically without any hitches, the action guidance was very precise, and the photo-taking efficiency was very high.
First, let's talk about the details of this outfit. The main dress is grey tweed spliced with black and white lace; in terms of material, the tweed brings a certain heaviness that just neutralizes the lightness of the lace, creating great visual layers. The front is a corset design with cross straps and pearl chain embellishments, and the waist is cinched, requiring an upright posture all the time. The hem is layered ruffles, and when walking or lifting the skirt, the dynamic effect is very nice. The head is matched with a black plush bunny ear headband, with grey bows and pearl decorations on the side, and the black plush choker on the neck echoes the overall style, making the facial contours clearer.
The leg pairing is white lace fishnet stockings, plus lace garters with black bows and plush balls, and black glossy high heels on the feet. This combination has a great effect on elongating leg shapes in front of the lens. The wrists also wear black and white plaid arm sleeves with plush-trimmed edges, packed with details.
To match the Japanese style of this outfit, the makeup was adjusted accordingly. The base makeup is fair and clean, the eye makeup uses a reddish-brown tone, emphasizing fake eyelashes and aegyo-sal, making the eyes look bigger and more spirited. A large area of blush is applied under the eyes and on the nose tip, paired with glossy lip gloss, giving a sweeter overall vibe. The wig has blunt bangs and sideburns trimmed on both sides, and long curly hair hangs down, which can modify the face shape very well.
The shooting location was chosen indoors with silver mosaic walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. The large floor-to-ceiling windows provided a great natural light source, which, combined with indoor diffuse reflection, made the light hitting the person relatively soft without hard shadows. The photographer is great at finding angles, utilizing the perspective sense of the window side and mirror reflection to make the composition very clean. When shooting full-body shots, I used my phone to take mirror selfies, which also clearly showed the overall outfit and lighting effect.
The rhythm of the whole shooting process was very fast. At first, I worried that the complex clothing design would affect posing, but the guidance was very smooth, and basically, a single instruction allowed me to adjust my state quickly. Because the clothing waistline is cinched tightly, the standing posture naturally became straight, and the photo yield rate is very high.
I am currently browsing the raw photos on the computer; the skin texture and clothing texture are well preserved, and the tweed texture and lace details can be seen very clearly on the screen. With a slight color adjustment, it should turn out to be very textured pictures. Looking forward to the final photos, hehehe.
