[Closure cosplay] Cyber Atmosphere of the Underground Studio, Chocolate Work Archive

For this Closure chocolate-themed work, a lot of effort went into the set arrangement. To recreate that cyberpunk feel of an underground studio, we brought in a large number of vintage CRT monitors, open-reel tape recorders, and discarded mainframe hosts. Every single one of those messy, interlaced cables in the frame was intentionally placed to enhance the wasteland industrial atmosphere.

In terms of clothing, this white T-shirt printed with a black owl pattern paired with a loose black leather jacket presents a casual yet slightly rebellious techwear style. I adjusted the tightness of the tactical straps on my legs many times to present the best indentation effect when crossing my legs, and the pairing of short boots also added to the overall crispness. The animal ears on both sides of the head and the blue-black blunt-bangs wig, after trimming and styling, strive to closely match the contour of the original design.

This shoot put a special amount of thought into light and shadow. The lit screens in the background provided a cold blue main light source, hitting the face and surrounding equipment, creating a cold, high-tech atmosphere. Meanwhile, the mixing console and legs in the foreground were supplemented with warm yellow lighting; the collision of cold and warm tones gives the image a cinematic feel. To match this atmosphere, my posture intentionally maintained a lazy and indifferent look, with crossed legs and slightly drooping hands, trying to capture her shrewd yet somewhat nonchalant temperament. Surrounded by this retro electronic equipment, I would even imagine myself listening to her report the latest trade market prices on the ship. Although holding one posture for too long gets a bit stiff, seeing how perfectly I integrated with the surrounding environment in the final photos truly validates the careful planning of the preliminary preparation. The entire set of works aims to showcase the character's state in her daily working environment, presenting a visually impactful image through the stacking of scenes and the use of light and shadow.
