[Catapult cosplay] Arknights Leisurely Summer Swimsuit Photoshoot - Image 1

For this Arknights Catapult Studio photoshoot, we selected a white studio in Zhanjiang photography, assembling a custom water pool set to bring out the tactile vibrancy of a summer Swimsuit cosplay. Pre-production time was dedicated primarily to arranging the foamy water surface and fine-tuning light refraction; multiple lighting tests were conducted to achieve crisp aquatic transparency alongside a luminous, supple skin glow. The swimsuit's vibrant colorway stood out, though the orange-red wig was prone to color casting under studio lights, requiring dedicated post-processing color calibration. During the shoot, maintaining physical balance while seated was critical: both the pink inflatable toy and the water's displacement destabilized posture. Leaning on the inflatable with my left hand demanded great care to avoid distorting the prop's shape while keeping body lines sleek and fluid. The red apple prop delivered rich texture under specular reflections, serving as a brilliant visual focal point. Great care was taken to align wardrobe fabrics and nuances with canonical designs. While Catapult may not be a mainstream favorite, this summer swimsuit styling delivered deeply satisfying results. Post-processing amplified the chromatic contrast among reds, pinks, and greens while preserving fine water-ripple detail. Because shooting in water is physically exhausting, sweeping poses were minimized, using refined leg positioning instead to anchor the frame's visual center. Every detail—from floating surface foam to the gathering of the skirt ruffle—was meticulously orchestrated to channel the character's signature leisurely summer warmth.
