[Sandrone Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Fatui Harbinger Seventh Seat's Study Interpretation

This shoot took place in an indoor study studio in Shanghai, capturing Sandrone from Genshin Impact. The set featured solid wood bookshelves and Venetian blinds; the afternoon lighting fell across the room in soft light bars, naturally cultivating a quiet, mysterious ambiance that resonated seamlessly with her canonical aura.

For hair and makeup, to capture Sandrone's iconic long blonde locks and piercing blue gaze, I wore luminous blue colored contacts and selected a wig featuring blunt bangs and sculpted side tendrils, paired with a white ruffled maid cap to crisply frame the head. The black velvet neckband was set with a crimson ruby gem, echoing the black, white, red, and gold palette woven across her garments. The wardrobe architecture is remarkably intricate: a white sleeveless bodice accented with a diamond chest motif, black-and-gold patterning across the midriff, and detachable layered sleeves—black and red ruffles hugging the upper arms transitioning into voluminous wine-red bell cuffs bordered with golden geometric embroideries. Slipping into this attire and donning pure white gloves instantly evoked that exquisitely crafted doll-like presence.

Throughout the session, we explored varied props and postures. My personal favorite is the shot seated along the wooden writing desk. To showcase the celestial star-speckled print across the skirt alongside the white pantyhose Stockings, I perched along the desk edge with legs crossed and gracefully suspended; the black-and-gold heels accented with white bows looked exceptionally tactile under directional light. These white Stockings not only enriched the ensemble's visual layering, but also beautifully contoured the leg lines. Holding the distressed vintage brown leather briefcase, I adjusted my white gloves and leaned into a subtle three-quarter turn, effortlessly channeling a cold, regal elegance.

During posing, I harmonized closely with the warm daylight filtering through the blinds, positioning facial highlights along the chiaroscuro boundary to carve out crisp three-dimensional depth. Because Sandrone carries such strong fantasy and gothic design sensibilities, moving between the bookshelves and timber desks allowed me to explore glance-back poses where fluid body lines contrasted against the deep wood tones. Overall, this shoot honored character fidelity while using practical ambient light to weave a compelling narrative texture. Post-processing preserved the authentic chiaroscuro and fabric weaves, achieving a final visual that aligns wholeheartedly with my artistic interpretation of this 2D cosplay character.
