Putting on this Arknights Exusiai the New Covenant cosplay outfit, from the apple headpiece to the floating halo, the shooting process went through two completely different visual styles.

First, let's talk about the hair and makeup coordination. To match the character's temperament, a vivid Red hair wig was chosen with slight curls at the tips; once put on, the curve of the bangs framed my face perfectly. Pairing it with golden contact lenses brought more focus to the gaze. For the makeup, under-eye blush and extended eyeliner were emphasized so that from any angle, the characteristic sharpness and refined look of an anime character could be preserved.

The details of the costume are very rich. The black leather jacket has great texture, though it felt a bit stuffy, so I had to constantly check for wrinkles between takes. The white garment underneath features extensive subtle patterns and pleated designs, creating a strong sense of layering when combined with the silver metal cross on the chest and the red draping cords. The lower-body styling is a major highlight of this outfit: the black leather thigh garter paired with over-the-knee White stockings beautifully elongates the leg lines. Especially when striking the one-knee-down pose in the third photo, the details of the thigh garter and White stockings are most completely displayed, delivering great visual tension alongside the red-and-black platform boots.

As for props, although the apple headpiece is made of plastic, it has nice volume; wearing it gives a wonderful wrapping sensation and looks adorable. When switching to the floating halo look without the headpiece, revealing the Red hair and the silver hair accessory on top, the overall aura immediately turned sharp and capable. Paired with the light blue background and scattered white triangular props behind, the scene didn't feel visually monotonous.

In fact, movement in this costume was relatively restricted because the leather cuffs and chest straps limited arm mobility. Therefore, when attempting these poses, the focus was placed on the interaction between hand gestures and facial expressions. The apple look in picture one used hands framing both sides of the cheeks with a slight head tilt to enhance the fun apple vibe. The subsequent photos swapped to the halo, using peace signs or hands-on-hips poses to express confidence.

The most critical part of the shoot was adjusting the hovering height of the halo prop to avoid exposing the rig in the frame. The entire shoot took several hours, and though I was exhausted by the end, looking at the final photos, both the outfit coordination and styling effects met all expectations. Checking the gear in the mirror, the color reproduction of the Red hair and White stockings under natural light was very high, making it feel totally worth it. Finally, I'm really looking forward to interacting with fellow fans at conventions with this cosplay look.
