Choosing a seaside location shoot this time was definitely the right choice; the glistening waves under the sunlight match March 7th's blue and white color scheme exceptionally well. The layering of the costume and the lightweight tulle material work beautifully in the wind. To recreate the agility of this 2D character, I specially adjusted the direction of the ribbons and the curvature of the skirt hem. The wig underwent meticulous trimming and backcombing to ensure a fluffy and natural silhouette even under intense light. The grip posture for the prop bow was tested repeatedly to look tense and powerful without disrupting the overall balance.

The shoot relied heavily on the angles of natural light; backlighting reveals the transparency of the tulle, while front lighting highlights the textures of the armor and straps. The biggest challenge of a location shoot is actually the wind, but the sea breeze happened to give the hair strands and cape a dynamic sense of breathability. The post-processing skipped excessive skin-smoothing, preserving the skin's real texture and light-to-shadow transitions to give it a more genuine photo shoot atmosphere.

Every time I portray a character, it feels like a re-understanding of details; from accessories to expression management, the more familiar the character, the more heart is needed to appreciate her underlying personality. I hope this photo set allows fellow enthusiasts who see it to feel that relaxed yet slightly stubborn vitality of March 7th, making it a wonderful piece of Cosplay photography.
