I've had this Sangonomiya Kokomi maid costume for a while now, and today I finally had time to write down my thoughts on the try-on and photoshoot. The garment's overall palette weaves deep blues with purples, visually harmonizing with the Hydro element theme. The silhouette from UWOWO truly flatters in person; the layered structure gives the overall figure great three-dimensional presence. The large chest bow and lace splicing show neat stitching, with cleanly finished edges. What surprised me most was the trailing tulle train of the skirt, crafted from sheer gauze with a delicate sheen that lends a fluid drape and airy flutter while walking. The tiered layers strike the perfect balance of lightness without ever looking bulky.

A quick heads-up for everyone: the sizing runs somewhat large. When measuring yourself, definitely double-check the size chart. In my regular size, the sleeves and waist felt slightly loose; if you prefer a snug, tailored fit, I recommend sizing down. However, if you're looking for relaxed comfort while walking around convention halls, your usual size is completely fine.

I put some extra thought into the shoe accessories. The default shoe ornaments are relatively fixed, so to achieve the visual effect I wanted, I modified how I wore them. I partially disassembled and retied the blue ribbon straps, wrapping them directly around my calves and ankles over opaque white tights (White stockings), instantly creating rich dimensional depth. This not only kept them securely in place, but also flattered my leg proportions beautifully—the contrast of White stockings against deep blue ribbon wraps looked delightfully striking.

During the shoot, sitting on steps proved to be a clever pose to showcase the sweeping reach of the tulle train. Leaning the body to one side with legs crossed let the cascading drape of the fabric fill empty spaces in the frame, while accentuating the lines and proportions of the White stockings and legs. Holding a translucent jellyfish-shaped prop under the ambient studio lighting brought out a dreamy underwater aura. Here's a handy tip: make sure to firmly anchor the large pink hair bow and semi-sheer veil to the wig with bobby pins, as the delicate tulle and lace edges easily snag on each other when adjusting poses. Keep the inner wig cap neat as well, ensuring the veil doesn't make the head look top-heavy. While the sheer gauze sleeves look gorgeous, they are prone to static cling—applying a bit of body lotion or anti-static spray beforehand works wonders.

Overall, this outfit's color expression is exceptional, with the trailing tulle train serving as the visual highlight. The texture of the white tights combined with the customized shoe wraps rounds out the complete styling seamlessly. Wearing it, even a simple seated pose produces rich, multi-layered visual depth. As long as you dial in the sizing and take care when handling the delicate tulle, its on-camera impact will definitely exceed your expectations.
